‘Secret Church’ event hit by ‘cyberattack’ preventing people from watching it live
A Virginia pastor's "Secret Church" service was the target of an apparent cyberattack, preventing more than 50,000 participants worldwide from logging in and attending in real time.
David Platt, the pastor of McLean Bible Church in Vienna, Va., hosted the six-hour event on Friday night, which focused on "the way Christians relate to the government."
Having spent (too) many years stationed in the DC area, it was pretty common to hear McLean Bible Church's pastor on purchased commercial spots on the local news radio station (the most listened to station in that region) witnessing. "Not a sermon, just a thought..." I never attended there and dont know much about their theology and doctrine, but never could fault their outreach.
This is a large and very rich church that has been active in outreach in the DC area. President Trump made a surprise appearance there once. Its not a surprise they would have a major event targeted.
