President Donald Trump has a $4.89 trillion plan for running the country if he wins reelection in November. His 2021 budget, released Monday, proposes cuts to social safety net programs and foreign aid and asks for increases for defense, veterans, and building a wall along the U.S.-Mexico border.
John Locke, you sound like a high school sissy who sat with the girls and discussed soap operas at lunchtime. Are you so goofy that you don’t realize a depression in America will hurt poor people a lot more than anything anyone says on a relatively obscure website?
John Locke wrote: You people should be ashamed of yourselves you sound like high school bullies. You like shaming people who are poor and need help and insulting people who want to help the poor. I will be sure to laugh in your face when you get replaced by a robot and your children have no house to live. Second depression part II is coming upon America.
QC, just how much is the modern Church fulfilling almost anything of the book of James?
14. What good is it, my brothers, if a man says he has faith, but has no works? Can faith save him? 15. And if a brother or sister is naked and in lack of daily food, 16. and one of you tells them, “Go in peace. Be warmed and filled;” yet you didn’t give them the things the body needs, what good is it? 17. Even so faith, if it has no works, is dead in itself. 18. Yes, a man will say, “You have faith, and I have works.” Show me your faith without works, and I will show you my faith by my works.

It's all moot question as far as the government is concerned because Trump's budget is DOA in the House.
Jim, your headline is horribly inaccurate. Trumps budget is for non-entitlement spending. Your headline indicating Medicaid, etc is mostly entitlement spending over which the Executive Branch executes little to no control. It is that part of the federal spending that is sinking us. Not a surprise, though. Weaving a tangled web of lies is part of Isaiah 59.
Instead, let's consider some steps backward on LBJ's war on poverty. Let's see churches step into their proper role of supporting the unsupportable, whom families cannot help. Let's encourage fatherhood in the inner city and throughout America, and encourage fathers to support their families financially. Let's stop this socialist train wreck before it destroys everything.
A great starting point would be to eliminate all federal funding for the National Endowment for the Arts, PBS, and Planned Parenthood. Then remove all federal monies going to sanctuary cities and states. Finally, make Jim go to work and pay for his own Cheetos.
Caitlin Emma and Jennifer Scholtes wrote: .... As with his previous budget proposals, Trump is once again seeking deep and unrealistic cuts to most federal agency budgets, according to the budget summary tables. The cuts are unlikely to be embraced by Congress.
For example, the administration is seeking an 8 percent cut to USDA’s budget over current funding levels. Trump’s plan would cut the Commerce Department by 37 percent, the Education Department by 8 percent, the Energy Department by 8 percent, the Department of Housing and Urban Development by 15 percent, and the Department of Health and Human Services by 9 percent....
