Kansas University faculty wants Chick-fil-A banned
A few Kansas University faculty members are not fans of allowing Chick-fil-A to be served on campus because they believe the chain violates "safety and inclusion".
âThe culture of Chick-fil-A fosters hate and discrimination on multiple levels,â the Sexuality & Gender Diversity Faculty and Staff Council wrote in a two-page letter, accusing university leaders of being "more concerned about money and corporate sponsorship than the physical, emotional, and mental well being of marginalized and LGBTQ people."
While the fast-food chain is celebrated for its exceptional customer service, it has come under fire several times after its president and CEO, Dan Cathy, publicly supported traditional marriage in 2012 and opponents have accused Chick-fil-A of being anti-LGBTQ for its charitable giving to the Family Research Council and Salvation Army, to name a few....
Dr. Tim...Youâre going way back! My wife remembers those days. She tells me how they used to drive on dirt roads and if they couldnât find what they needed at Hooperâs (the little country grocery store), they would have to drive for miles to the city. She recently took my two oldest to the Dixie Speedway, they had a hoot!
Naw, J4J, I havenât seen that one. I think Chick-fil-A is a wonderful company, but I just donât care much for chicken sandwiches. Besides, Woodstock has gotten a little too congested for me. I liked it better when the only things on Highway 92 were the Dixie Speedway and a few trailers, and Bells Ferry Road was a little two-lane back road.
This news item reminds me of that joke about how to tell the difference between a liberal and a conservative. In this case, the liberal doesn't like Chick-Fil-A, will not eat at Chick-Fil-A, and wants to ban Chick-Fil-A for everyone at the college. The conservative who doesn't like Chick-Fil-A just doesn't go to Chick-Fil-A. That's it.
The moral and ethical standards of today's education establishments are no where near the original integrity expected of our parents.
What with sodomite agenda, evolution superstitions and the ambigious, dubious, unproven mythology of global warming; - We observe that these "education" establishments are more about indoctrination than learning, knowledge and intellectual study.
What a sad and sorry state of affairs for our children and the future.
Prophetic words... Professing themselves to be wise they become fools. (Romans 1:22)
Eph 4:17 .... as other Gentiles walk, in the vanity of their mind, 18 Having the understanding darkened, being alienated from the life of God through the ignorance that is in them, because of the blindness of their heart: 19 Who being past feeling have given themselves over unto lasciviousness, to work all uncleanness with greediness."
J4J, when I was a youngâun, there were only two places people could eat in Woodstock. They could go to the Old Dixie Inn, or they could stay home. Do they have a Chick-fil-A now? I remember when Perimeter Mall had one of the early franchises, all of which were in Atlanta-area malls back then. And youâre right, the restaurants donât hate queers. Queers just hate the restaurant and anyone else who wonât agree that their lifestyle is not sinful.
I thought there was a separation of church and state? You know, the state college canât have a religious litmus test for their contractors. Chick-fil-A is just as safe as anywhere else and they will serve to anybody who has money, so there goes the inclusion argument.
Who would have thought that weâd see the day where they are Afraid of a chicken sandwich. đ. These â universities â or as I call them, institutions of indoctrination, are. Castrating our fragile young men and emasculating our young women into mean faced clipped haired bulls. So sad the state of everything in this country
Apparently to win the arts and souls of a college student, one goes through their stomach âđ

Chick-fil-A is also located on the University of Missouri-Kansas City campus and near the University of Missouriâs football stadium in Columbia.
