Hillary Clinton's pastor compared her election loss to Jesus' death and resurrection

Hillary Clinton's pastoral adviser urged her to keep her head up following her unexpected Election Day loss in November and compared the election to Good Friday, the day Jesus was crucified.

"It is Friday, but Sunday is coming ... This is not the devotional you wish to receive this day. While Good Friday may be the starkest representation of a Friday that we have, life is filled with a lot of Fridays," wrote United Methodist City Society Executive Director the Rev. Bill Shillady in an email to Clinton obtained by CNN. "Friday is the day that it all falls apart and all hope is lost. We all have Fridays. But, as the saying goes, 'Sunday's coming!'"

Shillady has maintained a pastoral relationship with the Clinton family for years.

"For the disciples and Christ's followers in the first century, Good Friday represented the day that everything fell apart. All was lost. The momentum and hope of a ...

Russia Bans All Websites Related To American Democratic Party Due To Its ‚ÄúRacist History‚ÄĚ

http://www.whatdoesitmean.com/index2362.htm

The Democratic Party, this report explains, is the oldest (founded in 1828) of the two major political parties in the United States (along with the Republican Party) whose ‚Äúracist history‚ÄĚ is ‚Äúwritten in blood‚ÄĚ and whose criminal acts against humanity include:
Six party platforms from 1840-1860 that supported slavery.
Twenty Democratic Party platforms from 1868-1948 that either supported segregation outright or were silent on the subject.
The use of the Ku Klux Klan, which, according to Columbia University historian Eric Foner, became ‚Äúa military force serving the interests of the Democratic Party‚ÄĚ and University of North Carolina historian Allen Trelease described the Klan as the ‚Äúterrorist arm of the Democratic Party.‚ÄĚ
The Democratic Party opposing the 13th, 14th and 15th amendments to the Constitution. (The 13th banned slavery. The 14th effectively overturned the infamous 1857 Dred Scott decision (made by Democratic pro-slavery Supreme Court justices) by guaranteeing due process and equal protection to former slaves. The 15th gave black Americans the right to vote.)

Hitlery not gonna be able to preach in Russia?

Kind of like the Popes claiming to be Christ on earth, priests claiming they have the power to forgive only that which God can forgive; a power from on high which can never be reverted or rescinded, along with a supernatural endowment which allows them to order Christ, the Almighty, out from Heaven and into a wafer or a box, several hundred thousand times per day, according to the church. Then there are the multitudes of doctrines, dogmas, and rituals...blasphemy.

Yolanda, my responses back to you, are meant to be loving spirit towards you, I never have condemned Jim or John Y, etc. As the Bible is ever so crystal clear, that the fallen in the 1 ST Adam, are already condemned; John 3:18. The lost left to ones own-self are always going to be incapable of redeeming their own-selves. As the unregenerate can't & willn't, be able to change their fallen nature, that condemns them already; reference to Jermiah 13:23.

Christ saves condemned sinners, through His gospel, effectually calling sinners , inwardly to Him, as sinners will only come to Christ by Him removing away the harden spiritual hearts of stone away. As what ever ones political persuasions, one stands on. Their is only restoration in the Gospel, as how blessed are the feet, of those who preach & teach, the whole counsel of Gods Word, weither that be in the pulpit or out on the streets. As Heaven has none without Christ first being the first true seeker of the fallen sinner amen.

Yolanda, first off pleasant greetings directed your way, this fine blessed day, but what you are saying directed towards me, is way off. As what Ladybug; said to you she made a good observation in what I was saying & others with their own agendas. First off, I have nothing personally against Jim from Lincoln, Jim repeatedly has done a fine job in exposing his own motives. In what his agendas are all about, in what he has shared on these, SA Forums. For were one heart is, therefore, that will lead to we're ones treasure is, of what is important to them. Jim likes to promote murder through Abortion, & justify it away, as his own posting. Have provided the proof of His adgenda, as he has repeatedly spoken out on others, who are bringing the gospel to many, who are as likely will be going to a church, in how a thef, is looking for a police officer.

I never said anything about being better than Jim, in my posting on here. the only difference between the lost & the regenerated, that one is better off than the other one, simply stating that salvation through saving grace are unmerited favor, that are saving gifts as no one is deserving of amen.

I don't see Need Him as 'condemning' Jim Lincoln, rather, exposing the sins Lincoln cleaves to, namely, his idolatrous view of politics and the Democratic party. That isn't to say either party is 'better' than the other, they are both filled with unregenerate sinners who seek their own agendas.
Think about this one, John the Baptist pointed out Herod's sin in stating it was not lawful for him to have his brother's wife. Our Lord informed the woman at the well about her five husbands. It wasn't to condemn, but to warn. Jim Lincoln has been warned repeatedly, to no avail. Also, oftentimes errors are pointed to for the sake of others who may read comments like Lincoln's and be caused to stumble. A babe in Christ can easily be confused by the likes of Lincoln, John Y and Steve R., all of which pose as Christian yet uphold unbiblical views.
I am sure Need Him will respond to you in due time. I do agree with you, we should pray, and I am positive the elect of God here pray for all who come here and display rotten fruit.

A prayer for an ungodly leader-

Need Him

You seem to get it, or have got it.
We continue to compare ourselves with others based on moral failures and successes. It is not wise.
The living word said "I will have mercy and not sacrifice." Further he told the religious crowd, " Go and learn what that means."

To continue exposing the sins and faults of others to others with faults is to throw sand in the eyes.

Think about the woman taken in adultery. Her accusers meant it for her destruction. But God meant it for good in that he forgave her.

Who is it that can condemn another? They brought her to the one who justifies the ungodly. We should do the same; in prayer.

Chris G P from England, our resident Socialist Liberal from Lincoln, doesn't approve of you talking about the Former President & Savor for some, like that. You didn't provide a link, to straighten all of us out, lol & you are from across the pond, lol.

Only the Gospel can be the remedy to our corruption, through the Blood washing away sin. As the Law slains is & shows us, how far & utter hopeless we are of missing the mark of absolute perfection, every single time. Regardless of how much we try to proclaim our own self-good, as only Christ is Good & utterly Holy, may He remove the veil off others to come to Him amen.

Good comments. Reminded me of when Mr Obama took office and he was called a savoir, treated and revered as a savior, and the school children were taught to sing songs praising him as some sort of an other worldly, holy being. The songs were disgusting and sounded as if he was being worshipped.
Just like I'm certain the case is here, he never openly condemned such blasphemous reverence, nor did I ever hear him condemn artists portraying him as a christ, etc.
I think if he and Hillary Clinton were true Christians, first of all, they wouldn't be Democrats, but that aside, they would be horrified and condemn such references.

terrible legacy of Hilary Rodham Clinton if she had been elected.

The Christians in the USA have a unique opportunity to repent, to pray, to preach the Gospel, to be discipled and to disciple, to be grounded in the Word of God, to teach their children, and to be salt and light in the community.

They must make the best use of this opportunity. It may not come again. They must also stand against compromise and false doctrine in the church.

God graciously gave the USA an undeserved reprieve. Though President Donald Trump was a very flawed and imperfect candidate, Hilary Rodham Clinton, would have taken the liberal leftist baton from President Husein Barack Obama, and run with it.

Persecution of Christians, unlimited Islamic immigration, (though Christian refugees would have been largely kept out), the LGBT agenda, Transgender rights, wide scale abortion on demand, Planned Parenthood being a privileged society against which no law could be passed, exporting her "values" forcibly to African and other countries, euthanasia, "global warming"/ "climate change" myths, throwing thousands of people out of work in heavy industry, coal mines and the power plants, energy bills and taxes going through the roof, affecting the poor, homeschooling parents losing their children to the state, and genuine Christian schools being persecuted and closed down, pastors, cake bakers, florists, photographers and others being arrested for not supporting "gay" and lesbian weddings, Obamacare sucking the health system dry, land grabs by the Federal Government, creationist scientists being kicked out of their jobs, sucking up to Iran, Cuba, China, Russia, Islamic nations, greed and corruption on a huge scale.

This would have been the te

The late Jerry Bridges; I believe that human morality, rather than flagrant sin, is the greatest obstacle to the gospel today. If you ask the average law-abiding person why he expects to go to heaven, the answer will be some form of ‚Äúbecause I‚Äôve been good.‚ÄĚ The rich young ruler (Mat 19:16-20), the prodigal son‚Äôs older brother (LK 15:28-30),& the Pharisee praying in the temple (LK 18:9-12) all had this in common: They were confident of their own goodness. Their attitude is replicated throughout our society. & the more religious a person is, the more difficult it is for that person to realize his or her need for the righteousness of Jesus Christ.

""Following her unexpected Election Day loss in November and compared the election to Good Friday, the day Jesus was crucified.""

Typical Liberalism ideology!!
Totally reprobate and ridiculous!
Worldly religion and the worship of the human sinner.

Liberalism whether at work in religion or politics is entirely satanic and deceptive.

Ladybug; I agree with you, my main point was to reflect back to him, how he comes against anyone who witnesses, who goes to abortion murders mills, to proclaim the gospel & try to help out, murdering moms & dads, their is others choices one can make, than murder, but most important is the proclaiming of no King but Christ alone.

That the very thing that he calls out others, for is the very same thing, that the Bible clearly speaks of those, who are regenerate, but never share their faith because of the fear of what mankind, might think of one of one or say to one.

But the Word says other wise, as we aren't to be silent of the gospel or ashamed of it, or Christ being the only means of salvation for one. As Jim likes to blast on one with quotes & links, John MacArthur, has exposed Jim love for death & justifying of baby murder, as John MacArthur, is down with being a soul winner.

May Christ remove Jim's, John Y, & Steven R, & our own lost loved ones veil & spiritual hardness away amen.

Need Him,

One cannot speak of something they know nothing about. Unless God re-births Jim Lincoln, all he has and possesses is a 'shell' of a religion. He can quote others, and even the bible on occasion, but that is not evidence of the new birth. He supports wordly agendas, namely the liberal agenda of the Dems. He continually speaks out concerning politics, then throws a quote around now and then about the 'insignificance' of politics. He really fools no one, he certainly does not fool God.
Is God mocked? Does God penetrate the heart of man with His piercing eye? How can one hide their agenda from God?
It is tragic to think one believes themselves to be saved, yet the fruit they continually bear speaks contrary.
