Muslim anti-terror march fizzles

A peace march organized by German Muslim groups to condemn terrorism and violence in the name of Islam has been held in Cologne. Organizers had registered 10,000 participants, but actual turnout was much lower.

Under gray skies, demonstrators waved banners proclaiming "together against terror" and "terrorism has no religion" on Saturday in the western German city of Cologne. Estimates of the number of people who took part varied from several hundred to about 3,500.

The march, organized by Islamic scholar Lamya Kaddor and peace activist Tarek Mohamad to condemn violence in the name of Islam across the world, was preceded by a heated debate when Germany's biggest Islamic association, the Turkish-Islamic Union (known by its acronym DITIB), refused to take part. ...

extremist messages, on the street outside, with the local police just looking on.

It eventually took years to extradite him to the US, as his well paid lawyers went through every trick in the book to stop this process.

As Christians, we are not to retaliate physically against Muslims, abuse them verbally, or hate them, (though we should oppose the religion that they believe in), and we should seek to lovingly preach the Gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ to them.

Unfortunately, isolated incidents such as the above, do not help, and the liberal media, politicians and churchmen will whip up the fear of "Islamophobia", to push for "hate crimes" legislation, while the Muslims will press for "Sharia Law" to become part of UK law, and so on, with all that that applies.

It is most unfortunate about the idiot who ran his van into Muslims coming out of the Finsbury Park Mosque in North London.

Apparently, an elderly man had previously fainted, (remember this is Ramadan, and the man had not eaten or drunk for the whole day), and other Muslims were looking after him and administering first aid.

The white man, probably a mentally ill person, or maybe one of the tiny minority of white supremacists or extreme nationalists we have in this country, ran his van towards this group, injuring some of the people, and killing the elderly man, (indirectly, it seems, as the man had a heart attack on the spot and died).

When the assailant tried to flee, he was overpowered by the local Muslims, who called the police, and handed him over to them.

You can be sure that the word "terrorist" will be used and the spectre of hundreds of anti-Islamic groups will be used to full effect, and "Islamophobia" against anyone who warns about Islam, backed up by the leftists and the politically correct politicians and "churchmen", while the Islamic preachers will continue to preach their real Islamic message with impunity.

Finsbury Park Mosque, by the way, was the very mosque, where Abu Hamza, now enjoying lifelong confinement in a US federal prison, preached his

The knowledge Muslims lack is the truth about sin and its dominance over them.
Thus why seek the Saviour?

"Does any reader of these pages feel anything of the importance of being forgiven?
Then, in the name of God, I call upon you to encourage that feeling more and more. This is the point to which we desire to bring all people's souls. We want you to understand that religion does not consist in professing certain opinions, and performing certain outward duties, and going through certain outward forms. It consists in being reconciled to God, and enjoying peace with Him. It consists in having our sins cleansed away, and knowing that they are cleansed. It consists in being brought back into friendship with the King of kings, and living in the sunshine of that friendship. Listen not to those who would fain persuade you that if you only "go to church" regularly you will of course go to heaven. Settle it rather in your mind, that true saving religion, such as the Bible teaches, is another kind of thing altogether. The very foundation of real Christianity is to know that you have many sins, and deserve hell—and to feel the importance of having these sins cleansed away, in order that you may go to heaven." Dave Hunt wrote:
Why is it that those who are so concerned about the immoral behavior of the godless all around us seem so little concerned about the false gospel of Roman Catholicism which is leading nearly a billion souls to hell, or about the heresy and unbelief within the church? ... Why don’t the Christian activists show concern for this unbelief which eternally damns souls?...
--- (Political/Social Activism)

I took the above tidbit from a Dave Hunt commentary, which really gets to essence of what the Christian Church has to be doing.

So, be it Muslims, White Supremacists, Buddhists, remember to sharpen your skills, You might want to practice on, (Roman Catholics, Mormons and Jehovah’s Witnesses) to hone those skills. (2 Timothy 4:1-5)

Chris GP, it's hard to persuade people about (The Inadequacy of Islam) When you have white animals acting like this.

BBC News wrote:
A 48-year-old white man, who police said was the driver of the van, has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder....

Mrs May said the incident was a terror attack. She said the man arrested on suspicion of carrying out the attack "targeted the ordinary and the innocent going about their daily lives".

She reiterated remarks that were made after an attack near London Bridge, saying "there has been far too much tolerance of extremism over many years."

The biggest Islamic association in Germany, the Turkish-Islamic Union, boycotted the Saturday rally, saying the "Not With Us" demonstration signals that it is only up to Muslims to tackle international terrorism.

Their argument is deceptive and flawed. It is mostly up to the Muslim community to marginalize radical elements within their ranks, reform their places of worship and promote a moderate version of Islam. But it takes more than a few demonstrations and statements by Islamic organizations in the West to confront Islamism and Islamists.

The recent terrorist attacks in the UK, and a number of deadly assaults claimed by militant Islamic groups and individuals in Germany in the past few years, point to an alarming level of radicalization among the Muslim communities living in Europe. Despite that, Muslim scholars and opinion-makers blame the rise of Islamist extremism on the Western governments' foreign policies, their interventions in the Middle East and other Muslim-majority regions. In this way, they attempt to exonerate themselves from any responsibility for the atrocities that have terrified Europe and the rest of the world.
As tho Socialist calls for violence had no influence on a violent shooter heeding the call.

The Muslims who went on this march against terrorism are either totally ignorant of their faith, or they are lying through their teeth, or they are not true Muslims.

The Koran is very explicit. The later Medinan verses, often quoted in Arabic only to practicing Islamic audiences, which according to Sharia Law, override the earlier more peaceful Meccan verses, often quoted in national language translations to sympathetic leftists, politically correct politicians and heretical "Christian" clergymen, are very clear that Muslims are to wage jihad against the unbelievers, they are to terrorise them, including Christians and Jews, and that there is a place and even a command to use "sanctified lying" or takiyya to deceive unbelievers.

The Turkish Islamic Association in Germany knows this and therefore, being true Muslims did not take part in the march. Some of the Muslims who took part in the march also know this, but were operating the "takiyya" principle to deceive the German leadership and public.

We must indeed pray for them
to repent, and to find the true Saviour, Prophet and King, our Lord Jesus Christ, the true God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, and the true Word of God, the Bible, the Holy Scriptures, and be truly born again of the Holy Spirit.

European Muslims will always be in conflict with Western norms and values if they continue to shift blame on others and don't look inwards. The Turkish-Islamic Union's refusal to participate in the Cologne demonstration is yet another proof that many Muslims are simply not interested in self-introspection....

European Muslims need to take a number of measures to convince the world that they truly oppose extremism in all its shapes. First of all, they must admit that there is definitely a need to convince the rest of the world that they have nothing to do with Islamist attacks.

It is true that a majority of Muslims are peace-loving people, but the terrorists that have massacred people in Britain, Germany, France and Belgium belong to Muslim groups.
