If this message does not set you on fire, then your wood is wet. "Everyone did that which was right in his own eyes" is a verse which should shake each and every person to the core. We stretch and twist the Word to suit our own lusts, forsaking the truth of God, who will give us over to our reprobate minds if we do not take heed to this warning by Brother Paul Washer. If you are trying to live your best life now, and ignoring your eternal life, then you are denying the very Christ who willingly died on the cross to save you from the wages of your sin. Many shall cry "Lord, Lord" and shall be turned away, having never been known by the Saviour. God is from everlasting to everlasting. Do you actually believe that He will violate the Law to suit your lusts? If you don't like what God commands, and as a result, are not willing to submit yourself to His will to be changed, you will not appreciate this message, or any message which Paul Washer preaches. What you are likely experiencing is conviction of the Holy Spirit. Lean not upon your own understanding, but listen to the Word of God, ask for forgiveness and for wisdom. Repent. |
