We don't support the Super Baal in any way at our home, so why would we think of it as another "outreach?"

As bad as this is, I am still also saddened by the amount of professing Christians who will go see the latest movies or dress their kids up like Star Wars characters or superheroes and think that it's all in good fun and harmless. They can quote more movie lines and song lyrics than scripture, all while sitting under the teachings of goatherders. These are the same people that attend these events put on by the Evangelical Industrial Complex... oh, and they have their own movies too ( The Resurrection of Gavin Stone comes to mind!)

Imagine that by God's grace, man has survived through the years, without the EPA. He feeds the animals and birds and His creation sustains because He and He alone does as He wills.

Burning wood for warmth has always been and God is completely capable of keeping the air clean for His creation to breathe His oxygen.

Wait until they see Him destroy the whole thing with fire... there will be more burning than just wood!

I lean more with Anabaptist. John Calvin did very wicked things in having people who disagreed with him killed.

Jesus meant what He said and I follow Him... not a doctrine of any man.

Luke 13:1-5 There were some present at that very time who told him about the Galileans whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. And he answered them, “Do you think that these Galileans were worse sinners than all the other Galileans, because they suffered in this way? No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish. Or those eighteen on whom the tower in Siloam fell and killed them: do you think that they were worse offenders than all the others who lived in Jerusalem? No, I tell you; but unless you repent, you will all likewise perish.â€

Facebook friends are not friends at all. True friends still talk on the phone and visit one another and share each other's burdens.

I have completely removed myself from social media as it is mostly garbage and doesn't edify. Way too many inappropriate things trying to mess with my hedge.

Me and my my 9 year old son listen to the Bible.is dramatized version of the Bible every single night right after our prayer time. He actually remembers so much of what is read because it brings the Word to life for him. He understands it better this way and I am thankful for it.

I would suggest it to all of you brothers and sisters as well.

Yeah... no. The offerings collected was for the poor saints in Jerusalem. As you should know from reading in Acts, everyone lived collectively and shared everything that they owned with one another. It wasn't so that hirelings can drive better cars than the congregation or live in better housing or pay the staff and build huge mega entertainment centers. Seriously, you're going to throw all of those scriptures out like that? Paul worked a real job aside from the ministry he was doing, and if you remember, he said that we should emulate him. No burden on anyone.

Oh, and my mother always said, that if a ministry is TRULY of God, then they will NEVER have to ask anyone for money.

Do we not know the scriptures? Were we not promised persecution? Although this would not be considered persecution on the scale that the REAL church endured, it is a small precursor of the things to come. BUT, if you, like me are not a citizen of this world, then you have nothing to fear, regardless of who controls the White House.

Jesus really meant what He said and He said that tribulation is coming...

I heard a really great Q&A with John Macarthur today and the question was asked why he doesn't talk much about politics, and his answer was so true. He said that the reason is because it makes no difference to the Gospel or to the Kingdom of God. Political agendas will NOT stop the Gospel from going forth nor will it ever effect the Kingdom. And that is so true! Since a true believers citizenship isn't of this world, we need to focus on the salvation of the lost and proclaim repentance.

So even Iran will never be able to stop the Gospel, nor any person or government. The true Word of God will prevail!
