"they legally “married” as a same-sex couple in Toronto in December 2002"
There seems to be an anachronism there. As far as I recall from watching the development of this issue over the past few years (mainly through Sermonaudio's news items) I do not recall Ontario having same-sex marriage (sic) back in 2002.
Perhaps it's not just the Oklahoma divorce judge "who was unaware the two parties were of the same sex"?
"Speaking in Dublin this afternoon, Dr Ian Paisley said the possibility of a visit by the Pope to Northern Ireland was a religious matter and not a political one."
I trust that the political First Minister will do his duty and welcome this political foreign head of state personally on behalf of all the people of Northern Ireland.
"Instead, observers say, they're visiting church websites and evaluating congregations — often without having actually met anyone at the church."
This can be very good and useful. There are churches I've been interested in and they have displayed their lack of credibility and lack of integrity on their website. Saves wasting time on them.
The more difficult cases are those "churches" which are not what they claim to be, houses which have not been built by the Lord. Finding that out is much more painstaking and painful.
... and I thought the big American toy companies had said "SORRY" for the unjustified Chinese product recalls and accepted responsibility that it was their original American design work that was at fault.
It would make more sense to avoid the big American toy companies right now.

Michael Hranek wrote: Now this thread is how Christian media should be reporting news about Roman Catholicism, which is famous for promoting themselves as the "One True Church" which they are not, nor do they preach the gospel that God Himself reveals in Scripture regarding His Son and salvation not by works but by His grace. Now if media, TV, Radio, Print, or Internet promotes itself as being Christian they ought to follow the example of our Lord and expose Roman Catholicism for the false relgion it is or we should not consider them a faithful source of news for Christians.
So, even on your definition, is there such a thing as "Christian Media"?
I've never heard Moody Radio in all my life, but Kenny has. Would you regard them as "Christian Media" in the light of Kenny's testimony and your own hearing?
