One Wednesday evening, when I was about 7 years old, as I got ready to pray for my food, I realized that if I died, I would go to hell. So right there I accepted Christ as my personal Savior, and a few years later I was baptized. Later on, as I was growing in Christ, God brought the passages of the Great Commission before me (Mat. 28:18-20, Mar.16:15), and I started asking myself "why not me? Why shouldn’t I go and tell the world about Jesus?" That is when I knew that God wanted me to give my life to be a missionary.
Growing up in Brazil and working alongside my father in the ministry made me see the great need for the Gospel to be preached to the lost and dying world (Mat. 7:13). When I was in my early teenage years, God challenged me through His word to give my life to serve Him as a missionary. We know that this is God’s will for our lives, and that He has called us to take His Truth to the souls that have never heard and are on their way to an eternity in Hell (Rev. 20:15).
In 2016 we started praying for the country of Albania, which is a country in the Balkan region of southeast Europe. God kept this country constantly on our hearts. Just recently we had the opportunity to take a survey trip to Albania, and while we were there, we were able to visit several other countries in the Balkans. We saw a great need for the Gospel, but with that need we also saw a great opportunity because they are open to hear the Gospel. We know that God is going to do a great work in Albania and the Balkans, and we are excited to get there soon! | more | less
