Folks it is time for our annual Bible Conference and many of you know this is a very big thing for us! So here are some details and then a word or two: First it starts Wendsday night September 19, and ends Friday night Sept. 21
Next we will be offering meals, each morning at 8:30 AM till 9:30 AM; then Lunch will be served at 12:00 PM noon time; and the evening meal will be from 5:30 PM to 6:15 PM. All are invited to come share, and our ladies are the best cooks in the world, some of the guys even prepare special dishes. We also share in close fellowship before, during, and after the meals, and have been observed feloowshipping after the preaching is over.
Next, I want to sort of introduce some of the preachers and when they will be preaching: I will list them in order of appearance.
Leon Gregory is from Fayetteville, Arkansas, and I have not heard him preach yet, but he is a mentor of our present James Spradlin so this guy must be a great soverign Grace preacher! Really looking forward to hearing Him!!
Dan Cozart, this man is a wonderful man of God and we affectionately call him the "Mortifier"; for he loves to mortify them serpents, a long story. But, Bro. Dan has never let us down when he preaches God's Word! I am sure you will hear about that poor ole serpent that got mortified, for we all tell it!
Jeremiah Blasi, I met first at our church camp, and he is one very talented young man, for I never seen one man pick up so many instuments, and just start playing as though he had done it his whole life. I did hear him preach and this to is another God given talent, and it is obvious he loves God. I am awaiting this conference for another preaching from this fine young man.
Jack Duplechain, there are no words that can explain this firey servant of God; for he is mild as a lamb and then fire and brinstone has nothing on him in the very next breath. Bro. Jackie has retired and left Memphis, TN for his old home place of Lousiana; but I am sure God is always with him, esp. when he is preaching. I would never miss this man preaching!
Mikal Smith,is from Missouri, and another man I met this year at our Chruch Camp, and he too is a mild mannered man, that has a deep love of God and His Word, and I am looking forward to another sermon from him, and I hope to visit more with him, while he is here.
Paul Brown, a very busy man, with so many things to do and he seems to always get them done; just plain amazes me how. But, he lives in Oklahoma, runs our church camp here in Arkansas, and then he has prison ministry, and writes, and hsi wife is just as busy. But, Bro. Paul always has a great message ready for a true child of God to see the newest and freshest things from God Divine Words.
Then Bro. Dan Cozart again. Friday morning, with Bro. Smith again.
Finally we close Friday night with Jeremiah Blasi, and then with Bro. Jack.
My words to you are this, there is no better place on earth to spend your time, than in the House of God with His people! And there is no better way to get more out of God's Word than to hear his word presented by many men who believe in the Soverign Grace of God Almighty!
