Great Sermon! What a blessed sermon! Preached in 2009 but so timely yet today. It shows us that God's truth doesn't change, unlike the world and its wickedness. This is a message of hope and encouragement! Christ is still King and despite all the plots and plans of wicked men He will reign! May God bless this sermon to many others!
Very encouraging! The second half of this lecture is very exciting. He talks about some of the great movements forward in the church which Jesus Christ brought about, sometimes through terrible persecutions, sometimes through one brave man like John Wycliffe or John Hus, or through one missions-minded community like the Moravians.
Very interesting to hear that 2019 saw the largest gay pride parades ever around the world. And in 2020 God has humbled the world with the coronavirus, recession, etc. The speaker says that after pride came a fall.
Great Sermon! Great great timely message. May God raise up more brave preachers like Kevin to shepherd this flock of Christians whose numbers are dwindling. Onward Christian soldiers !!!!!
Sola Fide Indeed the principle of Sola Fide is defended by the Bible. Just so that this is pointed out, the Lord objects to adding to or taking away from His Word (see Deuteronomy 4:2, Deuteronomy 12:32, Proverbs 30:6, and Revelation 22:18-19.) This also means that the Lord objects to salvation through works because works salvation is adding to and taking away from the Word of The Lord.
Great Sermon! Thank you for this great sermon. God always has a word in season for His people weather it's a word of comfort, or to get our attention about another matter. It's great to be saved above all all else. God bless you all in the States
Great Sermon! Really Rev.Myron Mooney I Fill blessed to hear this sermon . God bless you and your family if get chance to visit India please welcome . Rev. Wesley gream well-known about me ..
Thank you
Sobering! Pastor Weaver makes this statement, "When we think and when we act unbiblical, for all practical purposes, we're fighting against the Lord and we become his enemies regardless of our profession." He then takes you through the bible and shows you the results. We don't want to become His enemies!
Excellent! I too have listened to this sermon several times. The other comment (Louise) has pretty much got this sermon nailed. It will be well worth your time to listen. Great!
Great Sermon! I have listened to this message several times. Your example of how the average church would have welcomed the rich young ruler into membership and named a wing after him was spot on. Also your powerful point that when we are truly saved, we will argue with the Apostle Paul about who is the chief of sinners. Thank you for an excellent sermon.
