“ An Example of Unchanging Truth ”
I am thankful that God is Truth and that Truth does not change. Our culture on this issue kicks against scripture all for the purpose of creating division and to use that division for political gain. I pray that people will once again read God's word. Thank you for preaching true Truth.

“ Remembering The Imprecatory Psalms ”
It is worth remembering the Imprecatory Psalms of Psalms 5, 10, 17, 35, 58, 59, 69, 70, 79, 83, 109, 129, 137, and 140 in response to this child of Satan known as the pope.

“ Great Sermon! ”
And I saw a great white throne, and him that sat on it, from whose face the earth and the heaven fled away; and there was found no place for them. And I saw the dead, small and great, stand before God; and the books were opened: and another book was opened, which is the book of life: and the dead were judged out of those things which were written in the books, according to their works. And the sea gave up the dead which were in it; and death and hell delivered up the dead which were in them: and they were judged every man according to their works. And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire. (Revelation 20:11-15). One day, Pope John Paul II and every other Roman Catholic pope will be judged at the Great White Throne and cast into the Lake of Fire.

“ Important timely sermon! ”
As the pastor summarizes what happened in Charlottesville is falsehood for political purposes. Today sadly even the Southern Baptist convention (and AL Mohler) has disowned their forefathers in order to become politically-correct instead of biblically true on this subject. Most of modern Christianity has become totally PC and humanist, democracy-oriented instead of adhering to the Purity and truth of God's word on this subject. The fear of man brings a snare.

“ Remembering... ”
A memory from my youth (I won't tell you how far back I had to go to get it): The older saints in our black Baptist church, those born in the 1800's - the beginning of the 1900's, were always calling the Lord Jesus their "Good Master." Yep, they didn't have any problems being Christ's slaves. And they were a lot closer to the evil abuses of slavery and the aftermath than any of us.

“ Excellent, Excellent, Excellent! ”
You have so wonderfully answered the question about slavery, Bro. Jeff. Thank you. It's cleared the matter up for me. I've heard others Christian teachers that seemed almost--or were--apologetic about God's Word on slavery because of the world's view and I was becoming a little confused about things.

“ Thank You ”
Thank you for using Scripture and not opinion. Thank you for letting God's Word speak and not adding or detracting from it. Thank you for encouraging and not confusing. I pray more women would seek less of the world and more of The Word. Therein will they find blessed rest, peace and joy that defies understanding! Grace! Grace!

“ Great Sermon! ”
Thank you so much for this series. Every word of it is worth listening to! What brought me to this series was that for the last week I've been emailing a friend, in The Church of Christ, about salvation. He responded exactly as you mentioned in your series! I was encouraged to hear your responses. It helped let me know I was on the right track. I was more understanding towards what he was trying to explain to me. You've given me some great ideas! And I myself have a more solid understanding of salvation, baptism & works! Thank you so much!!!

That R Word
Pastor Jeff Black

“ Convincing Sermon, the Necessity of Repentance! ”
This message is like John's axe "laid to the root of the (corrupt fruitless) tree", exposes modern False Christianity, the new repentless Anti-Christianity, which presumes to present salvation by mere "profession of faith" and baptism (biblically tied to repentance) and church membership, as if there were no such gospel commandment taught by John, Jesus, and the apostles from the beginning. This proves that the truncated gospel of "just believe" (made popular by Spurgeon unfortunately) is an Error and not the full scope of the gospel message and commandment. Is it any wonder modern Christianity is such in name but not fruit? This one word of Scripture, set right by Luther, led to an entire Reformation, nay, a Revolution and Revival of true Christian doctrine and Babylon was exposed along with her priestcraft, and many awakened and obeyed, "flee out of the midst of Babylon, be not partaker in her sins that ye receive none of her plagues".

Sermon:
God's Word on Mixed Marriages
Pastor Jeff Black
1
comment
“ Relevant Sermon! ”
Important message on the necessity of christian exclusive marriage. To be fair, however, other renowned commentators have different views on the passages. While the Puritan John Owen describes Gen 6 "sons of God, daughters of men" as this exposition, the American Puritan Cotton Mather had the (literal) "giant" and "fallen angel" view. Matthew Henry interprets Moses marriage as to an Arabian, not an African, which Mariam scorned and "called an Ethiopian" (a culumny). Evidence shows the land of Cush is more likely Egypt or Arabia more than Ethiopia (further south in the "land of Ham"). In application, R.L. Dabney would likely disagree, even after abolitionism, even if the African was a Christian, due to difference of social status, which is also legitimate consideration. PC philosophy is usually unbiblical.

“ Great Sermon! ”
Pastor McDade is one of the most gifted expositors on the duties of the civil magistrate. This is one of the most challenging sermons on our duties when it comes to voting. I encourage everyone to listen to this challenging and very biblical message. Thank you Providence Reformed and Pastor Jeff Black for making this available.

Thanks for the very informative message on the Church of Christ. I have some family members that are members now for about 40 years and I too was once a member for a time. Everybody should hear this message and better understand the dangers of this body of people. Thanks!

“ This Was So Awesome!!! ”
We are under so much bondage in our present voting system, and Paul McDade explains from scripture how godly voting should work. If all Christians understood that we have no business voting for a man who is not specifically committed to a biblical law order, we'd have a radically different nation. The blessings of Deut 28 would abound. The lesser of two evils and that philosophy's Arminian, humanistic nature wouldn't even be an issue. Thank you so much! May you be an inspiration to preachers all over our country. God bless you.
