Great Sermon! We are always blessed with Pastor Eric's sermons!
He is always speaking The Truth in love.
This sermon especially spoke to me, but I hope it does to all...because none of us are without suffering. So glad we get to keep up on the sermons despite miles between.

Badly Needed Medicine! In a Church where Protestants and Catholics alike are trying to rub down the rough edges of scripture, Dr. Rayburn shows that without the roughness of the rough edges God's truth begins to unravel, becoming ugly, truncated, and untrue to the character of God. Speaking from a presbyterian and reformed context TO a presbyterian and reformed context, Dr. Rayburn shows us how God's Word informs and reveals his person and plan and yet it maintains his transcendence and mystery in his dealings with his creatures. According to Dr. Rayburn, it is the paradoxes and tensions in our Bibles that give us feet to walk on this earth while making us cling fast and strong to Him. The one draw back to the lecture is the poor recording quality of the first 7-10 minutes, but after that...it's all golden.
Great Sermon! Thank you for this wonderful message!
The true gospel of God's sovereign grace always gives all the glory to our wonderful sovereign God in our eternal salvation! Yes, Salvation is of the Lord!
