“ Gird up your mind ” Gird up your mind. Exercise the senses of your spiritual mind upon the truths of God's word. Start with salvation! Harness and train your mind to fixate on this things, sort through and come to conclusions about these things. allow these thoughts of God and His word to us permeate our minds such that they burst forth in continual meditation and praise. refuse to be dull and unthoughtful, desiring only the milk, unskilled, "ungirded" in the mind.
