Amen and Hallelujah! All Glory to God Fantastic sermon. 2 points I must highlight that should be further emphasized after hearing this message: 1 - Man is spiritually dead, not just a little sick or slightly broken having somehow retained a spark of divine life after falling in the garden. No. Christ Himself called the devil a "murderer from the beginning" (John 8:44b). How is someone a murderer if they don't actually kill someone, and guess who the devil's first victims were? Adam and Eve. Man is spiritually dead. 2 - as pastor said, the only thing that saves is what many consider foolishness which is belief in the atonement and work of salvation Christ Himself performed. The world looks at this and considers it too simple, too easy, and non-sensical because the world, under the sway of the devil, wants us to believe contrarily to God's promises and Gospel, that man must perform some special transaction himself and that he has to bring something of equal worth to receive the precious blood of Christ to wash away his sins. Again this is contrary to the Gospel itself, which declares faith in Christ saves to the uttermost. Now is this faith something man produces in himself? No. It is a gift of God (Eph. 2:8-9) to believe in the risen Savior. It is a spiritual reality the unbelieving world cannot grasp.
That's Good Preaching, Bro. Wheelis That's good preaching, Bro. Wheelis. We listened to this sermon on Easter Sunday, 2020 and got a real blessing out of it.
Great Sermon! Thank u for pointing to how we can pray in the moments when we don’t know how to. There will be situations in life where we don’t know how God will move. And so, the most humble and sincere prayer would be “Father, glorify Thy Name.” Indeed!!!
Great Sermon! I learned a lot from this sermon, and about myself. I pray that your words will go deep in my heart, and that the Lord will help me to conquer the sin in my life.
RE: first comment John, I don't think you listened to the full sermon. He made it very clear in the message that salvation is a work of God and not an intellectual decision.
Great Sermon! I gained a new meaning of faith. Obey God. Thank u so much Uncle E I gained a new meaning of faith. Obey God. Thank u so much Uncle E
