“ Proofs from Ashbel Green's autobiography ” The last 10 minutes of this lecture shows from a primary historical source how undercurrents anchored on the humanistic ideology driving the French revolution in the eighteenth century negatively infiltrated, tinted and influenced the course and times of the American war of independence. Every American should be aware off of such facts to better understand their present as much as their future.
“ So Relevant to Today ” Thank you Dr. Grant for this history lesson. I had heard the general story but the details are amazing. May God grant us the courage of the Scottish Covenanters!
“ Excellent messages! ” I’ve been very blessed by this series on prayer, I’ve found them to be challenging & praying it’ll bear fruit in my prayer life, by Gods grace.
“ Great truths. ” Good way of reducing things to their essence: to be centered on self or to be centered on other. And to glorify God or to rebel against Him.
“ Great Sermon! ” God has again been gracious to those listening to your sermon. What a truth that mediocracy being fatal. May God give us tears for his harvest.
“ Speaking of the U.S. Constitution ” It is important to remember 2 Peter 1:11 in times where the American Republic and its U.S. Constitution are highly exalted, even in churches today. It is also worth noting Psalm 145:13, Daniel 4:3, Daniel 4:34, Daniel 7:14, and Daniel 7:27. The American Republic and its Constitution and Declaration of Independence are temporal and will vanish away. The Kingdom of Jesus Christ is eternal and will last forever. Our true allegiance is to The Everlasting Kingdom of Israel, not any temporal nation on this Earth.
“ Great Sermon! ” Glad to hear this reminder that God uses all types of people to accomplish His purposes. Not the most educated, articulate, charismatic. How easy it is to forget Jesus used fishermen to advance the Kingdom.
“ Great truth. ” Good reminder of the secret of Christian life and ministry: a love and dedication to the Lord Jesus Christ. This message touched my heart today.
