i am on a second odyssey of listening to a sermon from each book of the Bible, preached by a minister whom i am not aware of hearing before.

“ Great Sermon! ” This sermon is amazing. It is true yet so many are blind to it, its blatent and yet the way of the world clouds Gods truth. So many fearlessly blaspheme, i cant fathom it, it scares me!
“ Great Sermon! ” excellent and needy message in a day when anything goes in the House of God.
I sometimes think about the casual attitude of dress as folk go to worship God would they go to an audience with the Queen of England in the same way ?
Oh that many would awake to the Holiness and Reverence of God.
“ Good instruction on PCI self-inflicted wounds ” The PCI is wounding itself. I hope and pray that those godly ministers who actually obey the Bible will have influence within the PCI. I fear they won't.
As regards to the signing of the WCF ... I think elders in the PCI can sign up to the WCF "with reservations". There you have it. The ultimate get out clause.

“ Great Sermon! ” Great sermon! With the presence of any ordinary christian is the presence of Christ - The Light. At the end of the sermon the minister talks about coming into contact with a sinful sodomite - the sodomite turned and walked away when he was confronted with the presence of Christ. The same happened to me, only it was not a sodomite, but an ecumenical apostate minister in the Carnmoney area.
“ Interesting Biography ” I have read a lot of biographies about Bunyan, but I never knew his grave is between the graves of John Owen and Thomas Goodwin. One look at that site and I would say to myself, here lies the remains of the "three wisemen."

“ Great Sermon! ” Listening to this message here in the United States, I could only wish that there were more people here that would dare call the sin of sodomy to task. Most people would talk about the subject using the term "gay" or might even get a little bold and use the term "homosexual". But to see a man of God call the act what scripture calls it...sodomy...is very refreshing. May the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ bless and anoint brother Dowling in his endeavour to be faithful to the holy writ of God.
“ Clear and understandable ” Pastor Dowling could have preached this message with a lot of hate and anger. But he did not. It was balanced, clear, and stuck close to what the Bible says. In one sermon it is hard to cover ALL of the ground on this topic and Pastor Dowling didn't elaborate on some of the practical issues of relating to family and friends who are 'gay'. But he did give us a framework upon which we can hang other structures in regard to this issue.
Even if science established the reality of a 'gay gene' that does not solve anybody's problem. You are called to obey God, not to indulge what you really, really want to do - even if you are genetically predisposed to it.
I would recommend two books for further study:
1. The Same Sex Controversy by James White and Jeffery Niell
