Great truth. It is very true: sermons of great preachers on SermonAudio cannot take the place of personal prayer life. It is one thing to hear about the profound spiritual lives of others, and other to have you such a profound spiritual life. Spiritual life does not end with listening to a good sermon, but starts with it. After hearing must come practicing.
Great Reminder! I am praying that our holy and righteous God will by his spirit give us a healthy, effecatious fear of him. He is worthy of all honor and glory and is to be praised. May he keep our hearts from departing from his truth. It seems easier for me to be a puppet because the more I get to know his will the more evil is present in my flesh. There is nothing like struggling to let this passing world and the entrapments of our OSN go once and for all. We need others so desparately for edification and strength in the Lord. Thank God for our precious Lord and Savior who will finish what I did not and could not begin.
Great Sermon! If I shut up heaven that there be no rain, or if I command the locusts to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among my people;â€
If†â€my†people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.â€
2 Chronicles 7:13-14
A challenge The beneficial challenge of this sermon is the realization the preacher brings, that behind every conflict we face there is a satanic confrontation demanding faith in the living God.
In Total Agreement! God is speaking and He has spoken through you! From its inception God has expressed this is a warfare coming straight from the enemy’s boot camp and we as believers need to put on the whole amour of God and stand believing our Lord sovereignly controls every facet of life. Ultimately it’s going to work out for His glory. Let’s begin to look at the big picture, our Lord is not asleep! Romans 8:28; Revelation 17:17.
Great Sermon! May we flood the streets with the truth. For this weekend was Happy Diwali. To everyone celebrating the Festival of Lights, ...
It is a sad commentary of where the church of Christ is in the world today. Twitter is quite lit up with idolatry. Totally unaware of the judgment to come. Sadly we cannot even fellowship due to COVID because one or another are afraid of dying; even for the cause of Christ. ALL temporal lights will be extinquished soon.
A unique message Dr. Cairns at his best in zeal, power and content in what it appears to be one of his earliest messages at the beginning of his ministry in Greenville. Tremendous.
