Great study. Very good explanation of what it means to be an apostle, the calling of the twelve, the calling of Paul, and why today there are no apostles.
Great study. Good explanation of the words "world" and "all" in different verses of the Bible, with referrence to this verse. Christianity is not a provincial religion, but embraces people from all the world.
Great Sermon! We have only just recently found the sermons/ministry of Pastor Mark Webb, and how we thank God for him. We are so blessed by his sermons, having heard "Outside the camp" and wanted to hear more and more. God has taken him and his dear wife through much trial and tribulation recently. Please hear him and pray for them. Love in Christ, Rose and George
Double citizenship. We are citizens of heaven, seated with Christ, and, at the same time, citizens of earthy places. We must manifest and live our Christian lives in the world and before people.
Changing lives. Our hope is in the future, in what God prepared for us in heaven and in the fellowship with God, but this hope transformes our perspective on present life and changes our living.
Great passion for souls. Yes, God uses human instruments in calling sinners to Him through the Gospel preached. I discovered through this message another faithful servant of God, Epaphras. He became real before my eyes, a man with a passion for souls and for the brethren.
Power of God's grace. Blessed message about the long-suffering of God and His grace and power to dave such a man, who was so determined to follow his way of sin. Yes, this example shows us that God can save those unsaved from our families!
Great warning. The danger of following other than Christ or of adding to Christ. In Him we have all what is needed for our salvation and Christian living.
Glorious Jesus Christ. Blessed meditation about who Jesus is, as God incarnate and Lord and Head of every spiritual being, and of who we are in Him, of what we have in Him. It is true: there is no true spirituality apart from Jesus!
Great contrast. Great contrast between Judas, the hypocrite, who deceived with his religious life the other disciples, and Christ, the Savior, who walked in submission to His Father and His Law.
FREE GRACE NOT FREE WILL God alone gets all the credit for our salvation. We cannot even deisre to be saved until grace calls us & changes us. This is the effect of the fall: we are indeed totally ruined by sin. These doctrines have been used of God in the history of the USA to bring ture revival. May He do it again for the Glory of Chirst & for the good of His church. Today's smooth & easy & comfortable & "fun" religion is powerless. As J.C. Ryle said, no dogma no fruit. Sinners must know how utterly dependant they are upon the grace of God before they genuinly trust in it. Eph 2:1-10
Great Sermon! Wow, thank you Pastor for this powerful sermon! This message was very convicting, and I sensed the Lord asking me (regarding my unsaved husband)"Do you respond to your husband, do you speak to him, do you listen to him, do you look at him, do you react to him, do you love him, as you do Me?" As unto the Lord..
God bless!!
PROFITABLE BUT NOT POPULAR These topics are not often heard in our modern churches. We need to get back to the Bible. This truth will humble us and exalt Christ. I would like to learn more about these matters. May God be pleased to use His Word to wound and to heal as only He can. All praise to Soverigh Grace!
Great Sermon! Thank you for preaching the truth about election. So many don't really understand but you get it and that's encouraging. Keep preaching the word brother! From one preacher to another, God bless.
Would love to hear more on this subject. May Our Heavenly Father bless this sermon to the good of many souls. May The Church of The Lord Jesus Christ be moved to obey the His commands and work to reach all people with the Gospel of Grace. May Pastors be led to lead their congregations in the Truth rather than in tradition. May the sin of racism be overcome by the Love of God. John 3:16. God be praised & God bless all who read this comment. :)
