Great blessing. This sermon was a blessing for my heart. I needed it and God spoke to my heart through it. God wants us to separate from sin, worldliness and theological error.
3 truths. The Christian feed on the blood of Christ. The Christian thinks about his life in the terms of eternity. The Christian has a solid foundation for his life.
Great Sermon! I have not heard such a resounding cry for truth and faith in a Presbyterian church since my brother's ministry.
Many are turning back to Rome with open arms in comradery.
Great lessons. Very good sermon, great and useful lessons. It is a reality this spiritual battle, in which the devil is attacking us and slendering us. Praise the Lord, we can resist him in God's power!
Protection of God. Interesting message about the bravery of those men and about the protection of God. Being from Romania, I didn't know about this episode.
Great Sermon! I am an Independent fundament Baptist, so have not really listened to many sermons by Free Presbyterians, though certainly you are the closest doctrinally to what I believe as an IFB. For five or more years I have listened to Alan Cairns and about a year and a half ago, started listening to William McCrea. I love solid, Biblical sermons preached from the King James Bible. I am tired of the fluff I find preached by even many so-called Baptists - you never know what you will get unfortunately! If I wasn't a Baptist by conviction, I seriously would become a Free Presbyterian. Regardless of what my home church is, I am truly blessed to hear doctrinally sound and solid sermons. Thank you for being faithful and used by the Lord! May the Lord continue to bless your ministry!
Great Sermon! Brother Patterson, I want to thank you for your faithfulness in preaching the Word of God, especially preaching through 1 Samuel. I work at Kelowna's Gospel Mission (Kelowna, BC, Canada), and we are currently preaching through 1 Samuel before each lunch and supper (we call them our meal devotionals). Sometimes when I am preparing for a series of messages, I read through some of Spurgeon's sermons on that theme or passage to help give me ideas on where to take the message, applications, illustrations. I found a SermonAudio application for my Ipod Touch, and have been using it to find relevant sermons from each passage I am to preach on (the staff at the Mission takes turns/have designated parts to cover - something we just started trying in September, and it is going really well). I have been so blessed and strengthened spiritually by hearing the sermons you have preached through this book, and will certainly continue to listen to the sermons you have uploaded.
Great Sermon! I simply love the preaching of brother Patterson. As a pastor, I now feel more equipped to answer congregational concerns about freemasonry. Praise God!
Great Sermon! It has always been the hardest thing for me to know what to say to a friend,to know how to share what God has given me.Thank you so much for this surmon. It reminded me that He will tell me what He wants me to say.I think we tend to forget that He is in control of all things.Bless you
Sin in the nation. God's sovereignty over nature. The sin of Israel in rejecting the Lord. And a great and very serious lesson: for a minister not to pray for his people is to sin!
Keep up the Good Work! I like the connection you made between Pharaoh's dream and the Mad Cow disease. All answers are in the Bible. Just as the thought of cows eating cows was troubling then, it is still troubling now; for there is nothing new under the sun.
Great Sermon! This sermon should be heard by every child of GOD. Praise GOD that Andrew Patterson has stood firm for the true and living GOD of the Bible. I urge all pastors to stand against this evil within their communities and even within their churches.
