1689 BCF about the Scriptures. Presentation and explanation of the first chapter, about the Holy Scriptures, from the Baptist Confession of Faith from 1689. How our forefathers had a healthy view about the Scriptures and how we can profit from studying their beliefs.
You chose the right Spanish translation on which to work (not because it has any serious problems, but because it is the best and most worthy to perpetuate in faithfully refreshened form). I am very curious to see the published text one of these days. ¡Gracias! -- Gerald Parker
Great Sermon! This is a wonderful message ever delivered on the subject of Preservation.
It is very informative as it contains historical & theological data.
Dr.Waite is the best theologian in USA and abroad, all his sermons are worth listening!!
Great Sermon! Dr. Hills' book is very good, and this sermon is a reminder to reread Dr. E.F. Hills. In a day where "new things" are watering down the Churches/Christians it is important to hold to the Narrow Path. Translations that leave out/mangle whole verses are not God-honoring. Stand Fast! Is 40:8
Great Sermon! This is a good sermon to listen to,it's divided in 2 parts, the first speaks about the "American bible society", the 2 part compares verses of different versions.
If you want to know what the "American bible society" is,this is the right sermon to listen.
The sermon is concise and has a lot of truth in it.
Fantastic Sermon! This is a great message on Bible translation that everyone should hear. There are still thousands of Bible that need translating. Let's pray for more workers. Will you be one?
Cool I couldn't make out the text on the projector, but I liked the message, and that's what counts. I think I'm a little guilty of approaching Bible text from an empirical point of view and a sermon like this reminds me that faith has a much stronger role to play.
