Great Sermon! Dear Brother Bob,
This sermon has reminded me of a question that I've been wondering about for a while. Do aborted babies go to heaven? It seems heaven would be increasing by thousands of souls every day. I, like you used to be an Armenian, but, thanks to Br Spurgeon and you I'm taking the ground somewhere in the middle. Your readings and side comments are helping me to grow. Thank you and may The Lord continually bless you. JIM
Fidelity to Christ A lovely reminder of the blessings of holy matrimony, not of this world, love from God, going from this life into eternity, from everlasting to everlasting.
Proverbs 31:11-12
(11) The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.
(12) She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.
Great Sermon! You've touched on something that has puzzled me for quite sometime; the worthless or foolish shepherd God will raise in the land (erets) the land meaning Israel or from a gentile nation. Zechariah 11:16-17
Could this foolish or worthless shepherd be Jewish? Also in light of what Jesus has said in John 5:43
I am come in my Father's name, and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive.
Is it possible the Jewish people would only look for a Jewish messiah, and not a gentile?
Great Sermon! Thank you for being so transparent, as many of us can relate to these attacks from the devil. What an amazing account of what the Lord can do through a man who yields himself as an instrument for God's service. I believe that the Lord will judge us, not so much on the numbers of people saved, but on our faithfulness. Think of Noah...he didn't see one convert, after decades of preaching, but he was faithful! Lord bless you, brother :).
Great Sermon! Welcome back! I hope you are recovering well. I missed your daily broadcasts. Open doors do great work so it was great to hear you mention them.
This was my grandfather Thank you for doing these recordings. I'm enjoying listening to your reading my grandfather's book. We heard these stories growing up and I have numerous copies of this book and it's nice to hear it read out loud.
