Great Sermon! God is not in all his thoughts; who? The wicked. Before He made Himself known to us this was true of us. Our Lord promised the Holy Spirit shall come upon His people (J15:36), (J16:8) & (J16:13) in quickening power to all His chosen; His new creation will receive life & faith; as a result agree that we are SIN; so that, for the 1st we see the nature of our 1st birth is dead, vile, corrupt & polluted. We are taught of God that we possess a new holy nature yet, the old nature SIN is ever present in our physical body unchanged & though new creatures we remain sinners; sin is mixed with all we do. And yet, His Spirit beareth witness with our spirit that we are born of God (Rom 8:16). We hate SIN (our sin) desiring to be free from its presence; and we shall. Yet, the written words of the Spirit of God read or preached (specifically, Psalm 32:1-5; Romans 4:8, 6:14, & 8:1) convince us to look to Jesus Christ (2 Corinthians 5:21) confessing & believing all the testimony of God concerning His Blessed Son; hoping in the promises of the Gospel secured, for us, by our Representative, who are made to believe & apprehend by faith what He has purposed for us; justification, eternal life and joy unspeakable. He has made it so that God shall be in all our thoughts forever!
So blessed by this message Every sermon is such an incredible blessing to me. The unspeakable Joy that only He can give is so overwhelming that it cannot be described! The thought of looking upon His face brings tears of joy! Thank you Pastor Gabe for your love and dedication to the Lords sheep!
'A message for the hour from God' - D.F. quote The Lamb of God “worthy of double honor” … Honored by the Father and honored by His Bride the church.
...brother Gabe has, by the unction and grace of God, in this message lifted up “our Lord Jesus, that Great Shepherd of the sheep” who said: “I, if I be lifted up from the earth, will draw all men unto me” and “upon the Rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it” for “I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd giveth his life for the sheep”.
God's Word to His Sheep “Knowing that a man is not justified by the works of the law, but by the faith of Jesus Christ, even we have believed in Jesus Christ, that we might be justified by the faith of Christ, and not by the works of the law: for by the works of the law shall no flesh be justified” (Gal 2:16) So that, it is the OBJECT of our faith that hath justified us-that is, HIS faith. “Therefore being justified, by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God.” (Rom 5:1-2; remember to place a comma after the word justified). So, “Do we then make void the law through faith? God forbid: yea, we establish the law” because the OBJECT of our faith has perfectly obeyed the will of God. You can not rationalize, explain, or teach a person, who is dead in Adam, the truth of the paradox of the man of Romans 7 and 8. We are sin; everything the new man does in compromised and touched by the imperfection and fallenness of his old nature. That's the Word of God, and His sheep believe that (just like they believe in the Trinity, in the new birth and in His Incarnation!!! Our brother Gabe declared the wonders of God towards His people.
A must hear I believed myself to sinful for the Lord to love or have mercy on me. I can't stop praising and thanking Him for having mercy on me! Thank you for yet another wonderful sermon!
Great Comfort in Trials Thank you Pastor Gabe for your endless faithful preaching of God's word..
We all are so blessed from it!! Bless you brother Gabe!!
Great Sermon! Outstanding message. We were all thankful to the Lord for putting this message on your heart. We are the sheep of His pasture who came to feed on Christ Jesus. We to were once enemies of the Gospel, and now by the grace and mercy of God we believe. Our Lord instructed to leave the wheat and the tares alone perhaps the Lord will have mercy on some of the tares. He alone knows the heart. No man knows the names record in the Lambs Book of Life, or the names engraved on the stones affixed to the breastplate of our High Priest. Just preach Christ. The Holy Spirit does not bless or save sinners via goat-bashing messages; it's not our mission to refer to them as "thou fool" . Thank you for making the case. We were truly blessed.
What a great hope This message brought such joy to me! His love for his people is astounding! Thank you for yet another comforting sermon. I praise the Lord for you daily!
