“ Great Sermon! ”
That was an interesting study. You should check out Job 6:6 in the modern translations. The archaic KJV has the white of an egg, while the newer, more up to date language model, versions have the sap of the mallow and the slime of the purslane.

“ Proclaiming Truth ”
Very good series on Acts 15. I have heard testimony from many that have come out of a dispensational understanding of scripture and all site the same reason; true Biblical exegesis. Thank you for submitting more to the Word of God than to a system. Jesus calls all people to Himself and there shall be one flock and one Shepherd.

“ Use of the word 'world' ”
Excellent demonstration of an exclusive use of the word "world" in the New Testament. Clearly not all are reproved of sin, so the world, in this passage, must be referring to the elect of God. Thank you, Brother Barkman

Mr. Barkman, thanks for the reminder that persecution WILL COME and if it doesn't then I need to look at myself for the reason why not. This sermon is going into the "favorite" column.

“ The best sermon i have ever heard on this subject ”
This is the BEST sermon i have ever had the joy of listening to on this particular theological subject, which perplexes a lot of folk. There are some choice sayings as well, which i wont give an example...just listen for yourself ! Anyone who has never heard brother Barkman will surely be blessed by his ministry, and i regularly listen to his sermons here on Sermonaudio. Thankyou.

“ Great Sermon but, don't forget the HCSB please. ”
Good message, with a worthing mention of the best translations. I would add the HCSB, as it is not only accurate, but has a vocabulary that is more scholarly than many of the other translations. It is also very faithful to the original languages, though I feel many don't like how it "sounds" in a few places because of their traditional bent toward Tyndale vocabulary.

“ Excellent Mesage ”
I like where Pastor Barkman said that Satan has made a mountain out of a mole hill about the issue of Bible translations. As he points out that we need a Bible translation that is accurate to the Hebrew and Greek manuscripts that is current to English that is spoken.

How do we handle a brother who defects and is not faithful? Tough Love or Grace with Mercy? This message deals with the answer to this question with John Mark as the illustration.

Compromised Christianity

“ Encouragement ”
In this generation the temptation is to compromise the faith in order to be accepted by a broad spectrum of what is called "Christianity." Pastor Barkman in this excellent sermon rightly identifies this compromise as being ashamed of the cross. He encourages us to not comprimise and stnad firm.

The Many Sorrows of Money

“ Great Sermon! ”
Many who know the real God fall by the love of money than by the sin of being a murder ,fornicator ,etc since love of money is deception and the falling man is not aware of it A murderer will never think that he will go to heaven and hence a chance that a murderer can repent and go to heaven But a man with love of money like Judas think that he is going to heaven and hence never repents and end up in hell invariably Thank Mr .Barkman for this sermon for many preachers induce love of money in their sermons

Which English Version?
Gregory N. Barkman

“ Great Sermon! ”
http://www.geocities.com/brandplucked/strain.html if one scans down that link they will come to the use of 'shamefacedness'. Then: http://missionary-mom.blogspot.com/2006/06/shamefacedness.html Is 'propriety' better-do modern folk know what such a word means or do they rather know what shmaefacedness means? I was converted as a Watchtower adherent-the Cultic anti-trinitarian society who also abandoned the KJV. The scripture that the Holy Spirit used was I Timothy 3: 16. Maybe we should check the KJV translation and the updated modern versions and check to see if GOD is now obolete in the verse. Now even Dr James White tells us the translation should be GOD in this text! The Holy Spirit chose to use that translation GOD in this text to convict an ant-trinitarian re: the deity of God's Only Son and consequently to Christ and Salvation. Maybe Greg can deal with this text lest there is a danger of straining at a gnat 'shamefastness' and causing many to then abandon the supposed obsolete KJV language, which God has blessed 'spiritually' to millions and swallow the camel of men's scholarly wisdom and their preferred verions which omitt GOD at I Tim 3: 16? Which is MOST important 'shamfastness'-an error? OR the translation 'GOD'-an error? Which version?
