Invincible Love
Rev Allan Murray

“ Who is beyond God's forgiveness? no one... ”
This sermon is on a part of the Bible that is earthy and where we live. If you think you're such a sinner that God couldn't forgive you, see what happened with Hosea, Gomer, and their children. No one is beyond the power of the blood of Jesus Christ to forgive, and this sermon brings it out by tackling a part of the Bible you don't hear too many sermons on.

Repentance

“ This is what's missing in today's preaching ”
Repentance is the missing note in today's preaching. If you want to hear what preaching should sound like, listen to this sermon, because it gives the Biblical reason for repentance -- why it is a necessary beginning of salvation. I know that this message is not being preached anymore.

“ Examining a wonderful text ”
Galatians 6:14 has always been a wonderful text, to me, and I haven't really heard a sermon like this which takes it apart and explains it in such detail. After hearing this, the text is even more meaningful.

“ Great Sermon! ”
This sermon was just what I had to hear! Imagine if this type of preaching was heard in all our churches. It was so Biblical and right on according to Scripture. Thank You!

Sermon:
A Sermon for the Young.
Rev Allan Murray
1
comment
“ A good word for the young people! Pay heed...! ”
A good word for young people - adolescents, young people at the age when they're getting more independent, and even those going off to college ought to put this on their MP3 players and listen to it occasionally. If you know someone like this, get a copy into their hands. The Bible has a lot to say about how the world entices people into sin. The world never shows you the consequences of sin, just the short-lived fun. You have to deal with the consequences on your own, because by then the world has already abandoned you and moved on to the next person its trying to corrupt. Very few people will be true to your soul and show you what the Bible says, so treasure a sermon like this.

My Covenant

“ Good teaching ”
Excellent look at the covenant and what it means at a basic level - not only the covenant itself, although that's the main thrust, but what it means to Christians in their own lives. The word of faith movement has an aberrant view of the covenant that they teach - I encourage people who haven't studied what the Bible says about the covenant to listen to this message.

“ Very deep subject ”
The Fourth Watch is a very intriguing topic and seems to be filled with much interpretation for Christians. Beyond Peter's walking on water incident, there's much to get out of this sermon. It truly makes you think about the full meaning of it all.

God's Talion Satisfied
Rev Allan Murray

“ Our dire situation and what Christ did to save us ”
This is one of the best evangelical sermons I've heard - in the years to come it will be a classic - this explains our situation before a holy and just God, and how we could not save ourselves, and then goes on to show how Christ took our place. Sound theology is combined with passionate preaching. Don't miss this one. (Talion is a legal term which we usually see in the "lex talionis", the law of retaliation - meaning the punishment fits the crime - the sermon explains this word!)

This sermon is about Samson, but it contains some deep insights into how God can use sin to further his own purposes for his glory. I benefitted greatly from listening to this and reflecting on it.

“ about a babygirl ”

“ keys and recipies ”
For the humble minded, a sabbath year is in order, to take courage in this late hour; as Paul and company were able to comfort themselves in clear and present distress in Acts, though they should have listened to the (Gospel) message well before: Acts 27:22 "And now I exhort you to be of good cheer: for there shall be no loss of any man's life among you, but of the ship." Daniel 4:27 "Wherefore, O king, let my counsel be acceptable unto thee, and break off thy sins by righteousness, and thine iniquities by shewing mercy to the poor; if it may be a lengthening of thy tranquillity." We better start waving our spritual censers, that the plague not break out in our camps!

“ Here's real conclusive evidence ”
I can see a possible envelope of time to make use of the worldly gleanings for mankind, but that's about it. The prophet Isaiah did say that the LORD will make a short work. By reason of transgression without proper atonement in Christ, the wrath of the fornication shared among whore daughter congregations and anti-Christian kings, and because of the ultimate mystery mother whore, the war machine does trod down the environment. Leviticus 20:22 "Ye shall therefore keep all my statutes, and all my judgments, and do them: that the land, whither I bring you to dwell therein, spue you not out." Daniel 7:23 "Thus he said, The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be diverse from all kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces." Revelation 11:18 ".....them which destroy the earth."

Sermon:
The Green Issue
Rev Allan Murray

“ The Heart Of Global Warming Exposed... ”
The "Green Issue" is better known as Global Warming in America. Pastor Murray cuts to the heart of this new issue, that global warming has transcended any factual issues on either side and has become a dogma preached by people who want to use fear to get leverage over other people. It's almost a perfect issue for this: the consequences are so dire that we have to pay attention; but they will come at some unspecified time many generations in the future, so the leverage can continue indefinitely. It's hard to get leverage over people after a generation of disaster-duds like Y2K, but somehow they've managed. Their stranglehold on the media is pushing out other, more important problems... such as the gospel. The evidence for global warming is inconclusive at best. The reports always seem to hit the news media during the coldest time of the year when I'm buying sweaters and reading about global warming seminars being cancelled because of ice storms. But the truth of the gospel, that mankind is sinful and needs a savior, is not cyclical and overwhelming evidence for it exists on the pages of history.

Sermon:
The Gate to Heaven.
Rev Allan Murray
1
comment
“ What is salvation worth leaving behind? ”
The gate to heaven is wide enough for anyone to enter, but narrow enough that you have to leave behind your own efforts. If you have never come to see yourself as a hopeless sinner who needs a savior, listen to this sermon and ask yourself what you're unwilling to leave behind to get into the gate.

Sermon:
By grace, through faith,
Rev Allan Murray

“ Solid teaching on what faith is ... and is not ”
I recommend this sermon to people who aren't sure what faith is - maybe they've read Kenneth Hagin, or Kenneth Copeland, or some of the other "faith" authors and have gotten confused. A lot of time, "faith" is presented as something man-centered which man uses to manipulate God, and that's not what the Bible teaches. This sermon is a Biblical look at the role of faith in the believer's salvation. It looks at what faith is, and what faith isn't, and shows how important detailed study even of the prepositions of the Bible are (and the need for a literal translation that shows what the original text says as precisely as possible).

Rev Allan Murray

“ Listen if "decided for Jesus" or "accepted Christ" ”
If you have made a "decision for Jesus" or have "accepted Christ" this sermon is worth listening to because it points out the difference between making a profession and being converted. Salvation is not making a decision. So much modern Christianity does not teach the truth about salvation. You may have never heard before, so take time to listen.

“ Sound Theological Teaching ”
Sound teaching on the topic of the FINISHED work (very clearly stated in the text for the sermon!) of Christ. The riches of this one verse are unpacked carefully in the sermon.
