Very Appropriate Message A very condign message in this day of reprobation. God's well condign wrath will surely fall on this wicked, rebellious nation.
Great Sermon! Thank you so much Revd Johnson for giving us such a down to earth sermon - pulling no punches. It is utterly refreshing to hear straight preaching. Every blessing to you and your congregation, Arthur
Great Message in song! This song moved me! As a musician, I was touched by the message which was matched beautifully with the chords and melody and rhythm. I will listen again and again!
Another Great and Important Sermon! The was another serious message of warning! We need to be on our knees, crying out to Jesus. And then we need to be active, working for the Kingdom!
Crucial Warning!! The casual “ho-hum†attitude of so many “believers†is very disturbing and tragic! I know I need to visit the Cross often to reflect on my own depravity and unworthiness, lest I end up flowing to much with the crowd. We don’t have revival because most of us don’t want revival. We’d rather watch Jeopardy and other TV programs or surf the net with the little time we have left. Time is do short! Souls dying by the tens of thousands daily. Most lost! I’m ashamed at how I’ve lived most of my 57 years! May Gods help me to deny self and sacrifice more. God bless you Dr. Johnston!
Great Sermon! The wrong road is the broad road that leads to Hell. Does anyone get a chill anymore when they think about eternity’s flames and perishing in them? Do any examine themselves to see if they are truly in the faith? These messages resonate with me and stir my soul! I truly wish I had fellowship to share them with others who felt the same.
Truth and Insight!! The contrast between Charles Finney’s visit to the mill, and Rolfe Barnard’s some 90 years later is a good picture of our lack of spiritual concern today. We need brokenness! We need revival! Please, Lord, send us a move if Your Holy Spirit! Help us to humble our hearts with the things that concern You! Eternal things and your righteousness through Christ!
Imperative Message for our times! This is another great message that we all need to hear. The complacency all around us is discouraging, and we need to pray as per 2nd Chronicles 7:14, turning from our wicked ways. Are we on our knees, agonizing over the lost and the wickedness of our nation and the lukewarmness of most of our churches? We need more prophets! How lonely it often feels ....
Great Sermon! What a powerful sermon and I wish more people would preach on hell and the consequences of living a ungodly life . Months ago I watched a sermon by Rev Charles Lawson from Tennessee on Hell. I shared this sermon on my Christian group on Facebook . God bless you brother and your ministry !
Great Sermon! This is the type of sermon we all need to hear especially right now. I am so thankful there are pastors out there who can actually preach like this. Praise God. This is definitely a sermon to be shared, and a call to repent which is the only hope for our nation.
Rolph Barnard Growing up in Grace Baptist Church in Fairborn, Ohio Mr. Barnard would come to our church and hold two weeks of nightly sermons. Often he would stay with my parents. He had a major influence in our family. I’m looking forward to reading your biography and sharing it with my brothers. Another very interesting preacher who came yearly was B B Caldwell. He also stayed with my parents. Looking back I now realize the incredible gift that God blessed our family and church with by knowing these men of God.
Sobering Timely Wake-Up Call! So true! A lot is being said about how the virus and stock market may affect the President’s re-election — alas, but next to nothing is said about turning to God and getting right with Him. Where are the calls to repentance? I hear nothing really (except for Dr Johnston and a couple of others). So tragic!
