Dear Pastor: My husband and I have just begun listening to your teachings. We are now KJV bible believers! Question: Why would Father God ask Abraham to offer his son in a burnt offering? It seems odd to us that God would tell him to do something that HE clearly hated! To see Children..especially first born to be given into the fire? We realize it is a picture of salvation thru Jesus but it seems contradictory in many ways.
“ A rehash of the 'rapture' stance ” No disrespect to Pastor Hoggard, but I don't believe he should pull out straw men like Jimmy Swaggert and then ridicule their apostate views on the "rapture", which is a term not even found in the Bible.
All I can simply say is that the Bride of Christ, is not going to be on this earth during the time known as Jacob's trouble. That is not my opinion, it is stated throughout scripture and scripture typology. Yes Christians have suffered and will suffer tribulation, but that has been at the hands of man. During the time of Jacobs trouble, the persecution will come from the hand of Anti-Christ, and the church will not be subject to that wrath, because it will not be here, it will be at the marriage supper of the Lamb.
“ Great Sermon! ” Wonderful teaching. Inspired and anointed. It's always Wonderful in today's society that makes God so small,to be reminded of His intricate and perfect design. What a mighty God we serve.
