What a sobering message this is!!! Your sermon indeed pierced my heart!!! And I can only say GUILTY!!!! The LORD indeed gives those that are HIS own fiery trials, and they are for two very important reasons, for HIS glory, and our eternal good IN CHRIST!!! He chastens us, and strips us, so that we only look to HIM alone, for EVERYTHING!!! I pray that HE never stops those trials, because if he does, I know I am gone!!! May our LORD ever continue to bless you, your family and your ministry, as you , by HIS grace and inspiration, declare HIS gospel!!

“ All power, honor, glory and majesty to our God ” Excellent sermon, Brother Tom. Another powerful verse/lesson I might have liked to hear you include as part of your message would have been in Daniel 4:34-35 after the proud pagan king, Nebuchadnezzar, was brought to his knees in absolute humility to reverence the one true God of heaven and earth, and acknowledge His total sovereignty over all men and their affairs. "But at the end of that period, I, Nebuchadnezzar, raised my eyes toward heaven and my reason returned to me, and I blessed the Most High and praised and honored Him who lives forever; For His dominion is an everlasting dominion, And His kingdom endures from generation to generation. “ALL THE INHABITANTS OF THE EARTH ARE ACCOUNTED AS NOTHING, But HE DOES ACCORDING TO HIS WILL in the host of heaven And among the inhabitants of earth; And NO ONE CAN WARD OFF HIS HAND OR SAY TO HIM, ‘What have You done?’" (Daniel 4:34-35)
