“ Our righteousness. ” A message about the sinless perfection of Christ. We are clothed with the righteousness of Christ. Christ is our righteousness, our sanctification, our glorification.
“ Great change of life. ” Christ makes us new creatures. God is not tolerating sin in us, but is removing sin from us. Very interesting and useful the accounts of conversions.
“ End missing. ” There is not the entire sermon here. It has sound only to minute 18.44. It was a good message about the importance of prayer in Christian life.
“ King of my life. ” This thought from the sermon touched my heart: Jesus must be the King of our lives. Is it not enough how much we ruined our lives when we were the kings of our lives?
“ He will work. ” Yes, God will finish what He began in His grace. God will continue the work He begun in us and will conform us to the image of Christ, will perfect us, for His glory. He worked, He is working and He will work in us and for us.
“ For God's greater glory. ” Blessed message about God's delaying sometimes the answers to our prayers for the greater glory of Him when He answers them. God sometines waits until our case is almost desperate, so His deliverance or response is more glorious, and we see better that only He could work in this way. God is interested in our dependence on Him and in bringing Him the glory His Name deserves.
“ Wise and loving God. ” Yesterday I preached from Jeremiah 20:12, about the trials God let in the lives of their children. I preached for me and for those listening, but I today came a great trial in my life, so I thought not yesterday that I was preaching more to me than I thought! So today it was Alan Cairn's turn to preach to me about the trials, the precious trials God is sending in our lives!
