All sermons We have been blessed by the preaching of Jesus Christ.
Wondering why the opening and closing prayer are not included. Thank you for your labors in the Word
Great Sermon! How about a clear command to, "avoid all appearance of evil?" Using your examples... Doesn't eating meat sacrificed to idols have APPEARANCE of evil? I am not saying it is evil. It however definitely has appearance of evil! So case solved! Without compromise! Same thing with public education, worldly/rock or Christian music etc. Just Look at the curriculum and look at the lyrics.... Solved! Isn't there APPEARANCE of evil?? You are wrong, sir. Very wrong. No. There is no Liberty when we are told to avoid appearance of evil. Otherwise you are advocating circumventing the command to avoid all appearance of evil. His can you speak, but not know this command? Are you advocating disobedience and evil self-will in the name of the lord?
Very Sanctifying, and humbling Don't be dissatisfied with where God has put you, or what God has given you, but be content in all things. If recognition has not been given to you, or position, be content no matter what. Do not be envious of other brothers. The anger Envy is a greater sin than what sins you see in them. Be glad for them. Rejoice with them. Being content though you expected more, is a very humbling doctrine.
Great Sermon! A moving, clear, articulated & motivating sermon. It gave biblical clarity on the relationship between the word & the spirit. It was delivered into a heartfelt pastoral situation I.e. concern that his congregation pray for unction on the preaching. A concern relevant to the majority of our UK churches. It encouraged & challenged me.
Great Sermon! Your messages never fail to lead me to worship be it by words of praise and awe of this God in Christ, or be it in tears of repentance. Thank you.
