Great, Strong Sermon! How can I thank God for saving my soul?
I know that until He first loved me,
I did not and could not love Him. How can I keep professing my love for what He did for me. Thank you Jesus Christ for what You did for me, and what You continue to do in my life.
Powerful Sermon! Phil strongly and clearly shows us what we need to do to become and stay strong Christians. The 4 principles, watch, stand in faith, be like true men, and be strong are necessary to fight the daily battle against the world.
We need to cultivate these 4 things more every day so that they are normal parts of our lives.
Powerful Sermon! This message really helps a born-again believer to understand the constant battle of resisting and winning over sin in many forms.
It's a message I'll listen to during different times in my life.
Thank you Phil, and thank you Jesus Christ!
Thanks Be To God! This message is sooo wonderfully refreshing! With an open heart, I've continuously come to the exact same conclusions as brother Johnson concerning the new birth. Clear teaching and illustrations!
Great Sermon! I was deeply impressed by how Christ is exalted even in the message. Praise God! There truly is a famine in the Land. Churches on every corner but they might as well be bars or brothels. I am very thankful that I have found a great church for my family to attend that preaches the true gospel.
Awesome! I decided 2 start listening 2 these sermons once a day 2 help keep me on track. What an awesome sermon 2 start with. I'm learning so much, I'm able 2 use this knowledge & I'm able 2 listen 2 this while I'm working. What a blessing!
Edifying, logical, sincere, practical and liberatin Don Green has a unique style ...he will confront you with the Truth of mans affliction with great sympathy/empathy and love. ALL Biblically based truths spoken with tenderness to heal you and raise you up.
Thanks Don.
Great Sermon! Was truly blessed by this sermon. Please keep preaching the truth. There are thirsty disciples in the world seeking the wisdom of God. I am convicted by my failures, but Im thankful I can refresh my prayer life!
Could Hardly Wait to Tell My Wife About This Phil Johnson, this talk on Spurgeon was very helpful to remember how we are in a spiritual battle and a good encouragement to not think it a strange thing that as we grow in our faith and take a stand for Christ, and the Gospel, and for the obedience of faith that will honor Him, on what God Himself says to us in the Bible, some will not like it at all and may very wrongly and maliciously treat us as an enemy. In my own life it makes me realize some of the things that I am passionate about are well worth the grief I need to face to be faithful to God's will for us and myself as well.
Great Sermon! PuritanDownloads.com: Excellent! Thank you! What's the short answer how a Roman Catholic was saved before Luther entered the 16th Century theological stage with his "theological novum," Sola Fide? Thank you!
Popery Is A Novelty. Protestantism Is Apostolic! TIN: Please see "Popery is a Novelty; and the Protestants' Religion Was Not Only Before Luther, But the Same that Was Taught by Christ and His Apostles by Thomas Doolittle" at http://ow.ly/8tMxn. Also look up Richard Bennett on Sermonaudio. Richard is a former Roman Catholic priest who is now a Protestant preacher, and he answers your question in a number of his messages. For example, "The Early Church & A History of Justification, Faithfulness, Apostasy & Antichrist," at http://www.sermonaudio.com/go/56389, "The Papal Claim to the Keys of the Apostle Peter," at http://www.sermonaudio.com/go/56390, and "Biblical Mary and Roman Catholic Tradition" at http://www.sermonaudio.com/go/56391, would be a good places to start.
Great Sermon! This was an interesting approach to understanding Lot's behavior and how it can apply to us. Fortunately, I have a stronger faith in God than did Lot, not that I can't always grow as a Christian, but Jesus Christ has shown me the way and made it easier for me.
Salvation Before Luther? Great message!! Thank you. How do we address the Roman Catholic's concern which Pastor and theology scholar, Alister McGrath, expressed that Luther's Sola Fide is a "theological novum"? That is, how was a Roman Catholic saved before Luther entered the 16th Century theological stage with his Sola Fide? Thank you!
Strong message Given the essential differences that makes the the Ecumenical union impossible because of major doctrian
differences that seem will never be
reconciled -- The Word, The Faith are
too vast of differences for RC to accept.
My brother is an atheist... it boggles my mind how the same sun that rises in the early morning hours, where I give glory to God, he just shrugs it off as another day. It amazes me! Keep my brother Brad in your prayers. Thank you.
Great Sermon! Thought provoking and disturbing-as I've accepted the teaching of impressions and "losing" the peace of God as ways in which the Holy Spirit most often guides Christians into the will of God. Hope to hear more on this topic!
