“ 2 Laws, which one rules? ” 2 men, 2 Laws
Letter or Spirit?
Weakened by flesh or Mighty in God?
Without Glory or Glorifying ?
Under curses or under Blessings ?
Christ is the Only Law that litigates man’s evil heart and makes it Holy
“ The Great Deception continues ” Just flabbergasted as to why in the world would the fathers of the faith, and even the reformers not see that no one could keep the mosaic law in the old covenant ... why on earth would they point us back to it...
there can be only one reason
“ Truth Crucified by fools ” Why would any forsake the Gospel of Christ ?
Same reason as Pilate and the Judaisers and all who have since rejected Him, they took issue regarding some part of Him, and thus rejected the Whole Truth of Christ! Why? They were blinded by sin.
A little bit of yeast does indeed spoil the whole batch.... a little bit of sin has immeasurable eternal consequences blinding to the Truth. Even as Christ God of All Truth stood before Pilate, the Jews and the mob, chose to crucifiy.
Until He returns the Truth will continue to be crucified and for the same reason as always...idolatry, even idolatry of the mosaic law. For this law was only ever used to insight and enslave man to sin. In order that Christ would be made known as the Savior for His Glory and the Sake of His Name! Christ is the Gospel.. He is the Power of God for salvation! But from the beginning , throughout the running centuries, throughout OT and NT, people reject add subtract gloss as you have said many times Brother David, it’s fatal!
Christ is the Whole finished Truth, the Only Life and the Only Way to be free from sin , wholly positionally and progressively sanctified and glorified with Him!!!
May God open their eyes to look not at men and laws and foolishness anymore, run to Christ!
“ The Compulsion of Preachers.... ” What was the constant theme, the very heart-throb, and the agony in the apostle that made him cry out "Woe is unto me if I preach not the Gospel"?
Here is a very necessary challenge and encouragement to preachers young and old with helpful examples from former times. As always, there is one great essential and all-surpassing need - the preaching of the Gospel!
“ Preachers must preach ” It is for Christ’s sake that compels the man who is called to preach... I hear it and feel in your voice and heart brother.. you are possessed by Christ
“ Look to Christ not men ” Essentially, diversity boils down into 2 types of people n the world:
People are either dead in sin or born again in Christ
Brother David always preaching Christ
“ Mixed response ” I rejoice in Mr Gay's clear call to proclaim the gospel alone as the way of salvation - Christ and Him alone is the way of salvation - amen to that.
However, I was very concerned about the misrepresentation of Calvin and other reformers as 'law mongers', saying that they were 'playing the game of the Judaisers'. This couldn't be further from the truth - Calvin and the reformers, in contradiction of Rome, taught salvation as the free gift of God's mercy. Calvin and the reformers taught the apostolic doctrine. There is no law keeping as a requirement to be saved, there is grateful obedience to the law of Christ in thanksfulness for His mercy.As Paul says in Romans 3:31, 'on the contrary, we uphold the law!' The Christian obeys out of thankfulness and this is what Calvin and the other reformers taught.
“ Pressing into Christ’s free offer ” All scripture is about Authority
God calls who He will
God condemns who He will
God is Sovereign and glorified in His justice and mercy, man must needs to obey Christ’s commands: preach / live out what Christ has done...in order to glorify God the Gospel must be preached liberally continually and God engineers the results
“ Because My people left Me ... ” They would not hear Me “You have rejected me, declares the Lord; you keep going backward, so I have stretched out my hand against you and destroyed you— I am weary of relenting.
“ Truth Separates ” The Gospel separates the chaff from the wheat... the pagans from the followers of Christ... children from parents, etc... churcianity and everyone thinks that the world just needs nice people and people will save it! Save it from what? Scripture proves pagans were always used by God to judge His people. Christendom utilized pagan gods and superstition to worship from the very beginning. What surprise is it that America and all the so called “Christian “ countries do not see the plank in their own eyes... they do not minister the Word, suffer for the cause of Christ, and dying to self, what is the cross they bear in preaching Christ, Him crucified for sin, why would any Christ seeker take the organization that mimics the pagan world seriously?
Shake off the dust brothers and sisters and go, you who believe and trust Christ need only Him crucified to witness to the glory of God
“ Pleading Christ 101 ” No matter what scripture, Old or New Testament, it’s Always about the Gospel
Christ’s Everlasting Covenant of glory!!!
It’s simply basic training for every child of God! Doesn’t require a degree or superior intellectual skill...just the Light of Truth!!!

“ True Christianity NOT for sissies ” God’s judgement starts in His own house, We will be called out from the superficial dressed up carnal pagan religion of Christendom ... no more making lip service to God without proclaiming Christ and Him crucified! No more playing dress up, entertaining rituals banquets parties all the pagan false worship seen in churches today.
We are in a war brothers and sisters, and we will suffer persecution for Christ! Many even in our own families will hate us.
God is righteous and will deal as He always has with those who play loose and fast with His eternal glory...
Give the Gospel and die for Christ or not and die in shame...

“ God detests lip service ” Our righteous God is not interested in rehearsed professional speeches or artificial superficial mimicking of rote prayer...no ..He wants the heart that is honestly crying out to Him, being real vulnerable and without care for the stumbling speech, it’s soul rendering to our ABBA!
One should never evaluate their prayer as if it’s being graded based on eloquence of speech, but rather should we not feel feeble in comparison to our Omniscient Righteous Holy Sovereign God?
BUT our confidence is in trusting Him that encourages us to expose our true selves, for He is our most precious loving kind and merciful Father!!!
