“ Important - want to go thru the whole series ” Thank you! I moved to Florida recently and am looking for a church. I've been visiting churches and was excited thinking I had found one that teaches through the Bible. On my 2d visit I heard a sermon on Romans 9 that we cannot respond to the Gospel unless God gives us the necessary faith, which He only gives to those He already chose based on nothing but His will, but that's OK cuz He's God. No reference that 1 Timothy 2 or 2 Peter 3 which both tell us that it is NOT God's will that any should perish. I'd like to get pdf copies of the handouts if they are available. I want to do a deep-dive study on this and be able to share it by asking the other person questions to get them to think. This is very hard for me. I can't do it without God's guidance. Thank you again. I graduated from Moody Bible Institute in 1977. DL Moody was not a Calvinist, & the school did not take a formal position, but the pastoral staff had been taken over by Calvinists. Calvinism literally breaks my heart.

I am so glad that someone is speaking out against Ash Wednesday, Lent, and all of the other heretical madness that has saturated Protestant and yes, BAPTIST CHURCHES! I was a minister of music at a Presbyterian USA (apostate church) and I happened to ask the pastor, why are you doing this? After all, isn't this what the Reformation was all about? To break from the traditions of Roman Catholicism? He couldn't prove by Scripture their reason why they would worship Tammuz. I refused the ashes and dirt on my forehead and I was shocked when Baptist ministers began incorporating Tammuz worship into their worship. There were some pastor leaders who would wear rosary beads, and after church services, they began doing the sign of the cross after prayer. I began noticing even the teens and the misguided adults participate in such heresy. For some strange reason, they believe that the Roman church is correct in its doctrine, and I gather we have plunged headfirst into apostasy. God help us all.

This even happens in Reformed churches, which I attend where people claim to have been Christians for 40- 50 years, yet do not know their Bibles, and their beliefs are based on what they have heard rather than what Scripture says.
They have no idea of the truth, and many don't care. They're happy to get along as they are.

There are no churches here anywhere that aren't reformed. Makes church really difficult. Can u say a prayer for me please.
