“ Great Sermon! ” I found this while searching for sermons on Ephesians 5:15. I was pleasantly surprised to hear this sermon on Romans 14. The pastor teaches that chapter and exhorts us to love one another. Romans 14 can be hard to figure out and even harder to live out in love, whether you are the one with a strong or weak conscience.
“ Great Sermon! ” Brother Richard did a great job in showing the meaning of Jesus' Ressurection in our life as a follower of Jesus. It gives peace while living our life on earth and getting prepared to be with Jesus for eternity.
“ Great Sermon! ” Some of us who are older can remember our mothers and grandmothers wearing ladies hats to church, especially those who attended reformed churches. It use to be politically-incorrect for women NOT to wear hats in church and the fashions of the first half of the 20th century still reflected the scriptural norm (and why men removed their hats publicly during prayer). The change is only evidence of apostasy, taking scripture lightly, and proof that both worldliness and feminism have infiltrated most all "conservative" churches with its democratic, humanistic philosophy of an impossible "equality".
“ Great Sermon! ” Extremely informative and helpful for those of us whose eyes are finally opened to this lost and hidden truth of God's Word. This is a extremely helpful if you are a woman who is being shown by the Spirit of God this truth and you need more questions answered so you do not waver. Thank you very much. You are faithful to the text. I never grew up with headcovering teaching. I worship at a church where maybe one other woman does this with conviction. True believers are beginning to wonder. Satan has really robbed our generation. Why give him opportunity any longer. Let's glorify Christ as He as commanded. Continue to be faithful Pastor Bacon. Some of us do listen with listening ears. “ Sent by God or not? ” A biblical message about what it is a true prophet and a false prophet, the difference between a man called to ministry by the Lord and sent by Him with His message and a self-appointed man, who speaks from himself.
“ Sovereignty of God. ” Good introduction and overview of the book, discussion over the date of the writing of the book, with stress put on the sovereignty of God over history. All things which happen to us, in the sovereign plan of God, work for the good of His Church and for our good, because the Kingdom is His.
“ Great Sermon! ” HOw timely and such a great blessing to hear at this time--no greater words ever recorded in history are Jesus' last words on the cross, "It is finished!" Thank you for focusing on this very essential truth, when others are backing away from it.
“ Great Sermon! ” Thank you for preaching on this subject Pastor Bacon on God's justice! It is such a blessing to my soul to hear that there are still churches who preach all of God's counsel. I was saved under Pastor Wallace Bell's ministry years ago and I still cling to this vital doctrine. Keep it up!
“ Great Sermon! A Blessing to Hear!! ” Dear Pastor, thank you for your Bible-based sermons. They are very encouraging to me, & very refreshing in our politically correct age. I can recall as a youngster being frightened of all the talk of the world coming to an end. I remember my father and uncle once speculating on Bill Clinton being the anti-Christ. I recall another time riding the DART bus with my father and this man telling us that the things referred to in Rev 9 referred to black helicopters. Then after I "went forward" at this church I was invited to, although I was already a believer, a lady told me that Jesus would rapture His people out of the world at any time, and the rest of the world would experience such violence and horror for 7 years as had never been seen before in history, before Christ would return again. I had NEVER heard this before, and there seemed to be Scriptural evidence for this. So I then didn't ever fear the end times again & was comforted. A few years later I heard Hank Hanegraff say that the Rapture doctrine had only been around since the 1800s & originated with John Nelson Darby. I will have to admit I still cling to hope of the Rapture, although your sermons that I have listened to corroborate what I have heard of the Rapture theory not being around for that long in Christian history.
