From our humble beginnings, Lifegate Baptist Church has strived to remain true to God’s calling for us. We’ve sought to be willing to step out in visionary faith and take risks for God, and He has blessed us for that. In looking back at our journey, we can clearly see God at work. This gives us hope for the future and inspires us to continue to seek to impact our community with the message of Jesus Christ.
In 1975, the Lord placed a desire in the heart of Pastor Dan Deatrick to start a Bible-based, evangelistic, Spirit-empowered church in the greater St. Louis area of West County, that would impact this local community and beyond.
By God's grace, Lifegate has continued on and will seek to reach the surrounding communities of Wildwood, Chesterfield, Ellisville, Ballwin and others.

Primary Speaker: Levi DeatrickLevi Deatrick was called to be the pastor of Lifegate Baptist Church in October of 2021.
His father, Pastor Dan Deatrick, was the founding pastor of Lifegate in 1975 and so he spent the first 10 years of his life in this area and in this church.
