Introduction The purpose of Grace Reformed Baptist Church of Long Island is to bring glory to the only true God, who is Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We seek to do this in three ways: 1. By worshiping God in spirit and truth. Humble and reverential adoration is to be given exclusively to the living and true God. Worship must be guided by the Holy Spirit's Illumination of God's Word and offered with sincerity of heart. This ought to take place both privately and in the public setting in Christ's church. 2. By building up one another in our most holy Faith. We are called to endeavor to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace, to build up one another in love, to teach and admonish one another and to bear each other's burdens, seeking to fulfill the law of Christ. 3. By seeking to fulfill the Great Commission. Our Lord commissions us to go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that He has commanded (Matthew 28:18-20).
