When difficult times arose it was said that the great Reformer Martin Luther would sing and meditate. One of the songs that he sung was based off of Psalm 46, which we know as A Mighty Fortress Is Our God. Psalm 46 has been the song of celebration for the believer's confidence in God as refuge. This Sunday we will examine this Psalm so that when troubling times come, we will not wonder where we should turn to but instead run to our God—the one and only greatest refuge.
