As we celebrate the Easter holiday, it is important to realize that it is the highest holy holiday in the Christian year. It is the day we celebrate Jesus rising from the dead to provide the Gospel. The apostle Paul succinctly explains the Gospel. Paul provides the most concise description of the gospel found anywhere in Scripture. He begins by breaking it down in steps. First, he declared the Gospel, then we receive it deeply into our heart through our minds through belief. Next we have a new standing in spiritual destination, which is our salvation. Finally, he provides a caveat: if you truly believe and are transformed by what you heard, you will be part of God's family and go to heaven when you leave your bodies. I Corinthians 15:1-4
