Hebrews 5:11–6:3 points out three important thoughts to note. First, we ought to teach the Word of God. Second, those who use only the milk of the Word are unskillful. And third, being a skillful teacher who uses the meat of the Word is by permission. Do you know why God expects every Christian to be a teacher? How can it be reasonable to expect such a thing? Did you know it is sin not to wean off of milk to eat meat? Did you know spiritual growth is a privilege, not a right? It can be revoked. Find out why God does not instantly grant us full knowledge of His Word the moment we are saved. God wants us all to teach His Word, but to teach requires understanding His Word; and understanding His Word requires effort to study as well as receiving God's help.
