Spiritual Insanity: . I've known several people over the years who seem to do the same thing over and over again and just simply never grow spiritually. That is insanity — one can't grow in godliness, in spiritual maturity if we don't give it the attention, affection, time, diligence, and commitment. To think a cavalier indifferent approach to the spiritual life will yield spiritual life is the definition of insanity because it never works yet people keep on doing it!!! Point One (v. 6): We are exhorted to share with our spiritual teachers. Point Two (vv. 7, 8): We are reminded of God's inflexible law of nature in our lives. We can be deceived because often we think this law of nature, this sowing and reaping can be shortchanged, skipped, by-passed, set aside — maybe it works in most lives but it doesn't really pertain to me. God will overlook things; he'll wink at this or that; etc. "I know I know but…" God will not be mocked; can never be mocked. No one can cheat him or fool him. Point Three (vv. 9, 10): We are encouraged to do good to everyone.
