This morning, we will look to the One who was rejected by man but chosen of God. Isaiah 53:3 says, “He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not.” John 1:11 says, “He came unto his own, and his own received him not.” He faced the rejection of man, took on our sin, and felt the pain of separation from God the Father in order for a believer to belong to Him. Every child of God has been accepted and brought near to God through the blood of the Lamb and are part of God’s family. As part of God’s family, He has a place for you—the local and visible church. The title of the message this morning is “Church: The Beauty of Belonging.” We will consider the following 1)The Church is the Body of Christ- 12-13 2)The Church has Many Different Members- 14-17 3) The Members Must See The Beauty of Belonging (18-26)
