Do you love October 31 like we do? Is it because it reminds you of death—or of life? Paul Scharf, church ministries representative for The Friends of Israel Gospel Ministry, reflects on the cultural emphasis on Halloween that becomes so pervasive at this time of the year. We see it in stores, in decorations on houses, and throughout the media. Scharf shares why he also has a lifelong fascination with October 31, but for different reasons than most people do. Scharf explains why he loves that day because it marked the launch of the Protestant Reformation in 1517, and he discusses his interest in that subject. For the believer, October 31 should represent faith alone, grace alone, Christ alone, Scripture alone and the glory of God alone. Are you ready to celebrate October 31 Biblically? We would love to teach on this subject in your church, class or small group. Thanks for listening, and may we be the first to wish you "Happy Reformation Day"!
