The devil loves to play both sides of the field. He delights in the thought that people might engage in all sorts of illicit, extra-marital sex; he is equally pleased at the thought of a married couple believing that there is something about sex that displeases God, and therefore one should engage rarely in any sexual expression, or that sexual expression with ones spouse leads a person away from holiness.
In fact, this very thinking in Corinth had led to all manner of disorder. So you may be surprised that the Apostle Paul, who has a strong preference for singleness and celibacy, makes a strong case for regular sexual expression between husband and wife and even goes so far as to call it devilish sin to set aside sex.
It should be our sincere desire that married couples be freed from any sort of inhibition about marital sex and see it for what it is, the good gift of a loving God who created it, not only for procreation, but for joy, delight and the strengthening of both husband and wife.
