Sermon Outline for Sunday, August 31, 2014 Fellowship Baptist Church Senior Pastor R. Rubino
T.G Part 12 “Heresy, Apostasy, and Islam.”: Exposition-Galatians 4:12-20
1)The Apostle Paul is addressing the Galatians in order for them to repent. Rebuking someone for their heresy is an act of love. (Galatians 4:12-15; 2 Timothy 4:1-8; Titus 3:9-11 2)When heresy develops into apostasy those who once loved the truth will hate it. By inference those who speak the truth will be seen as enemies!(Galatians 4:16,17; Hosea 14:4; Matthew 6:22-24) 3)Christians must confront Apostates and pray for their repentance. Being zealous and passionate about a belief does not make it true!(Galatians 4:18-20; 1 Kings 18:25-29)
