In this text the Apostle Paul teaches us how to demonstrate the power of grace through sacrificial giving. Discover in this sermon what is true sacrifical giving. Paul uses the Macedonian churches as examples of poor people who saw sacrificial giving as a God-given, privileged opportunity not to be missed. In fact, they begged to be a blessing to others just like God had blessed them.

Relavent and Meaningful Sermon! This is a sermon I am recommending to my friends. I hope they listen to more than one of these messages from this series. Good to hear about how poverty and "over-budgeted folk" can still respond to additional needs that arise and prompt our faith in God's grace and good pleasure without pressure, even though life is full of pressures and demands.

Helpful Sermon! I preached this sermon to help people understand the true aspects of sacrificial giving. Many christians have an un-biblical understanding of this subject and are thus in bondage to misunderstandings. I heard as many testimonies concerning the impact of this series of sermons on practical christian living as I have heard concerning any series of sermons I have preached.
BTW, I suggest that anyone who listens to this series needs to first listen to the series on God's Glory that I preached a few weeks before this series. A proper theological context is important to understanding biblical giving.
Thanks again for all the testimonies, emails, and comments.

Convincing! Very Convincing exposition of truth. I am challenged by this sermon to give more sacrificially by God's grace. We are involved in some mission opportunities here and have need of finances. I now know what I need to do, THANKS Pastor Robertson.

Truly Liberating! May we learn how to give sacrificially according to the Scriptures. This sermon is a great exposition of an important text in the Bible that teaches us how to properly give . . . in a way that gives God glory. Truly liberating! Great Expostition! Undeniable passion!

I had to Repent! Listening to this series of sermons on stewardship has totally changed my understanding of how to worship God with my giving. I had to repent of years of ignorance of God's Word concerning this subject and limiting His power in my life by practicing un-biblical giving. I have been liberated in my joy of obedience in giving...giving sacrificially for God's glory and for God's work!
