The scriptures, when read plainly and with an earnest desire to understand them, lead to certain conclusions about some of the great mysteries of human experience. These include a beginning to the universe or its eternity, whether goodness comes from God or is recognized by God, and perhaps the biggest, the relationship between human freedom and determinism. If God is sovereign.. is man really free? If God is free.. can man be also? Thankfully, God doesn't leave us to our own investigations of these complicated matters but does give revealed guidance of the mysteries of human choice within God's ordination of all things.
