Hell is an undesirable topic these days. Maybe if we ignore it, it will go away. But in truth, "hell" has always been a very important topic, and the Word of God, Jesus in particular, gave the topic of "hell" great emphasis in their teaching. When Adam and Eve sinned in the Garden of Eden, they opened the door for all of mankind to follow Satan and his angels into their eternal judgment in hell. Jesus Christ has provided the way for salvation by paying for mankind's sin and offering eternal life by faith in Christ. The alternative, "hell", is just as real and is required by God's holiness - it will be the eternal home of all those who reject salvation in Jesus Christ.
