Yet Israel did not believe, they did not heed the warnings, but rather silenced the prophets of God in order to pursue their own idolatrous ends without torment from the truth. They embraced the darkness and so rejected the Light when He appeared. Yet the prophets, the Prophet, and the Word cannot be kept hidden, and no matter you celebrate lies the Word of God will go forth, it will bring forth judgment, it will bring forth salvation, and Christ will be glorified throughout the whole earth.
