Miles McKee, and wife Gillian, are departing for Ireland September 20, 2010 as long-term missionaries in order to preach Christ crucified in much of the country that has suffered a famine of gospel truth.
Due to the dire need, presented to Miles on several previous short-term trips, they are departing without all of their financial support in place. Here is a bit of their last newsletter:
"We are now in Jacksonville, Florida with our sending church, Paramount Church (www.paramountchurch.net) and will leave for Ireland in just a few days (20th Sept). The time has flown and even though we don’t have all our needed financial support we are trusting God that we will make it and that He will take care of all our needs.
"When we arrive, we will be renting a furnished apartment in New Ross although we will need to buy our appliances and some furniture, dishes etc. We will also need a car and a desktop computer, so if you could, please keep these needs in your prayers.
"The church in New Ross is growing slowly, but surely! We have a new couple from South Africa who have started attending on a regular basis and 4 neighborhood children are coming every week and get to hear the Gospel. This is a big deal for Ireland since the children are all in Catholic schools and are not encouraged to mix with non-Catholics. We are praying for some musicians who can help us with the worship. Right now we do all our singing acappella- but that's not the worst of arrangements."

Saved? Hearing Gods word, is literal.. Not just reading from the Bible. A saved soul hears His voice and it doesn't come from reading. God speaks to those that are His..and He speaks thru those that are His to those that aren't . To get saved, is not something we planned. A preacher who doesn't know God personally, has not be called at all

Great Sermon! What a Saviour!
So grateful for a wonderful Gospel.
So grateful for what Cowper had to go through to be able to write the hymn and idendify with that thief.
Very grateful to God for Miles and Miles' faithfulness in delivering this much needed message.
