What all of us need to hear!! The truth could not be more plain. Just as he mentioned in the sermon about light shining in the darkness and the darkness fleeing there is a sense of being refreshed and cleansed from hearing the simple truth. Of all the guilt on our sinful hearts it is great to know we can flee to Christ our Redeemer and flee the wrath that we deserve. I gave this sermon to a friend of mine the same day and hope he enjoys as much as I did.

Great Sermon! THIS MESSAGE NEEDS TO BE SHOUTED FROM THE ROOF TOPS; MAY THE BRIDE OF CHRIST REPENT AND RETURN UNTO HER FIRST LOVE. Preach on Chris!

A Bold and Powerful Message All I can say is thank you, Pastor Strevel for being willing by God's grace to preach His Word with so much faithfulness. While it is good for us to reflect on God's holy and righteous judgement on America's soil with this hurricane, we need to be more concerned with our submission to Christ's Lordship and our repentance. We need to quit blaming blacks, whites, the President, the gays, etc., and we need to look at our own hearts and at the little things we do every day when only God can see us. It's easy to see the darkness in others, so that we don't have to deal with our own sin. We need individual humility before the throne, and before the whole counsel of God that cuts to the marrow. Keep up the fantastic preaching!

Great Sermon! Thank you for this timely message!
May God have mercy on our poor, weak nation...
Instead of turning to the "almighty dollar" for relief, we should be calling
for a national repentance, and a turning from sin and a turning back to God and the Bible!
